More info A YouTuber who stopped off at a city centre chippy in Edinburgh branded it 'elite-level'. Matt, who runs Food Review Club, visited Landy's on North Bridge. He said he was 'shocked' after stumbling upon the spot, hailing it as a 'masterpiece'. Admitting he's had a lot of 'below average' fish and chips, Matt said that Landy's was 'textbook, done right'. Posting a clip of their trip to YouTube, Food Review Club said: "We're back above the border and deep in the heart of Edinburgh, where we stumbled upon Landy's — a place that's quietly serving up elite-level fish and chips, and we did not see it coming. "This spot looks more like a modern diner than your traditional chippy, but don't let that fool you. From the light, crispy batter to the fluffy chips and runny curry sauce, this haddock-based masterpiece might just be one of the best we've ever had. "No cake batter, no oil slick — just textbook fish and chips done right. And yes — we went full Scottish with an Irn-Bru to wash it down. We even shared the moment with some fellow visitors from Australia and got their verdict too. TikTok food star reviews 'indulgent' takeaway on the coast

A viral social media star has praised the "indulgent" food at a coastal establishment. Sarah Hoirns opened Say Cheese at Beach Street in Felixstowe at the start of last year, serving up macaroni cheese loaded with a range of different toppings. The takeaway allows guests to pick and choose from a range of toppings or specials such Mac Attack which is crispy potatoes topped with mac and cheese, or the D Oh Double G which is the cheesy pasta topped with hotdogs, crispy onions, yellow mustard and ketchup. During a recent visit to the leisure hub on the Suffolk Coast, TikTok star Food Review Club tried the cheesy pasta offering. "It's a delicious cheese mix, the mac is absolutely lovely, the crispy onions are great and the bacon bits are almost like small cuts of gammon," said the social media star. "This is a really good meal. It is quite indulgent and the portion is very filling." It is not the first time Food Review Club has tried the food at Suffolk restaurants and takeaways. He previously gave high praise to the award-winning Jus Winging It in Ipswich and said Big Bro Bao, which can also be found at Beach Street, was a "work of art".
