Ministry promotes Omani food products at Dhofar Food Safety Exhibition
Muscat – The Ministry is actively participating in the Food Safety Exhibition taking place in Dhofar Governorate from August 10 to 17. Represented through the 'Made in Oman' pavilion, the Ministry aims to boost the visibility and status of national food products.
More than 70 entrepreneurs, business owners, and food producers, including animal, agricultural, and seafood products, as well as various food commodities, are participating in the exhibition. The exhibition provides a platform to showcase the quality, diversity, and safety standards of Omani food items, highlighting their growing role in the country's economic diversification efforts. This initiative aligns with national goals to increase non-oil exports and strengthen local industries.
The Food Security Exhibition 2025 aims to encourage and support local producers to strengthen the agricultural, marine, and food industries in the Sultanate of Oman, raise awareness of the importance of food security and its impact on the national economy and society, and provide a marketing platform for entrepreneurs and business owners to expand their marketing and sales.
