Texas Tech 2025 Football Schedule: Best & Worst Scenarios, Season Prediction
Texas Tech 2025 Football Schedule: Best & Worst Scenarios, Season Prediction originally appeared on College Football News. 2025 Texas Tech Football Schedule Aug 30 Arkansas-Pine BluffSept 6 Kent StateSept 13 Oregon StateSept 20 at UtahSept 27 OPEN DATEOct 4 at HoustonOct 11 KansasOct 18 at Arizona StateOct 25 Oklahoma StateNov 1 at Kansas StateNov 8 BYUNov 15 UCFNov 22 OPEN DATENov 29 at West Virginia Who does Texas Tech miss from the Big 12 schedule? Arizona, Baylor, Cincinnati, Colorado, Iowa State, TCUIt would probably be nice to get Cincinnati on the schedule, and Baylor wouldn't be an awful team to play, but missing Arizona - it'll be stronger - is good, and not playing Iowa State, TCU, and Colorado is a big does mean the Red Raiders have to face Arizona State, BYU, and Kansas State, but this isn't a horrible group of teams to miss. Texas Tech football schedule, the good and the bad The Good: There's a nice and squishy three-game start to the season that should bring an easy base of wins. Kansas, BYU, and UCF - there are at least two more wins out of all aren't two road games in back-to-back weeks - there's a week off between Utah and Houston. November is lovely with no away dates for 28 days, and ... The Bad: There's not too much to be upset about. Going to Arizona State and Kansas State is about as tough as it gets for Big 12 road games, and going to Utah will be far, far nastier than it was last season. Playing in West Virginia in late November won't be warm, but at least there's a week off to get ready. Texas Tech Football Schedule: Best and worst case scenarios Best Case Scenario: The Red Raiders come out rolling with three straight wins to start on 5-1 run before going to Arizona State. They split with the Sun Devils and Kansas State on the road, and close out with a strong November run to go into the West Virginia game with a shot at getting into the Big 12 Championship. Worst Case Scenario: Losses to Utah and Houston on the road set things back, and a 1-3 Big 12 start puts the pressure on a slew of dangerous dates over the second half of the the team is good enough to get to six wins and a bowl game, but it's a grind to get were done earlier in the summer. West Virginia 2025 Football Schedule: Best & Worst Scenarios, Season Prediction
West Virginia 2025 Football Schedule: Best & Worst Scenarios, Season Prediction originally appeared on College Football News. 2025 West Virginia Football Schedule Aug 30 Robert MorrisSept 6 at OhioSept 13 PittSept 20 at KansasSept 27 UtahOct 3 at BYUOct 11 OPEN DATEOct 18 at UCFOct 25 TCUNov 1 at HoustonNov 8 ColoradoNov 15 at Arizona StateNov 22 OPEN DATENov 29 Texas Tech Who does West Virginia miss from the Big 12 schedule? Arizona, Baylor, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma StateIt might seem like it's not a good deal to miss a few teams that didn't go bowling last year, but Arizona, Oklahoma State, and Cincinnati is a plus - they'll all be better. Baylor should be dangerous, Iowa State will be a factor again, and missing Kansas State is always a positive. West Virginia football schedule, the good and the bad The Good: Along with missing teams like Iowa State, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State, getting Utah, TCU, and Colorado at home is a huge positive. All things considered, it's a plus that three of the first four Big 12 road games are against teams that didn't go bowling last year, but ... The Bad: The Mountaineers don't get two home games in a row, even in non-conference a horrible beat to not play in Morgantown in the middle of the season, with the road trips to BYU and UCF wrapped around a week off. there's no time to get comfortable - there are way too many long road dates, and they're going to add up. West Virginia Football Schedule: Best and worst case scenarios Best Case Scenario: WVU wins the Backyard Brawl. The Rich Rodriguez offense gets going right away, it rolls over Pitt, and then gets on a nice roll helped by Utah having to make the with the schedule loaded with alternating home and away games, the team gets to six wins by November, takes care of Colorado and Texas Tech at home, and is in the mix in the Big 12 race until the end. Worst Case Scenario: The Mountaineers lose the Pitt game, drop the date against Kansas, and the must-win game against Utah goes the wrong way before the two straight road games. They have to be perfect over the second half of the season, and they won't be. They're well out of the hunt for a bowl game before the week off after Arizona State. - CFN 2025 College Football Preview Big 12 2025 SchedulesArizona | Arizona State | Baylor | BYUCincinnati | Colorado | Houston | Iowa StateKansas | Kansas State | Oklahoma State | TCUTexas Tech | UCF | Utah | West Virginia This story was originally reported by College Football News on Aug 6, 2025, where it first appeared.

Iowa State 2025 Football Schedule: Best & Worst Scenarios, Season Prediction
Iowa State 2025 Football Schedule: Best & Worst Scenarios, Season Prediction originally appeared on College Football News. 2025 Iowa State Football Schedule Aug 23 vs Kansas State (in Dublin)Aug 30 South DakotaSept 6 IowaSept 13 at Arkansas StateSept 20 OPEN DATESept 27 ArizonaOct 4 at CincinnatiOct 11 at ColoradoOct 18 OPEN DATEOct 25 BYUNov 1 Arizona StateNov 8 at TCUNov 15 OPEN DATENov 22 KansasNov 29 at Oklahoma State Who does Iowa State miss from the Big 12 schedule? Baylor, Houston, Texas Tech, UCF, Utah, West VirginiaIt would've been nice to miss Kansas State, Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State … more on this in a probably want to miss Utah this season, and Texas Tech might be dangerous, but the six teams missing from the Cyclone Big 12 schedule didn't do much last year. Missing Houston and West Virginia might hurt. Iowa State football schedule, the good and the bad The Good: If the Cyclones can get by Kansas State in Ireland to start the season, there's a real chance at a 5-0 isn't easy, but that's in Ames this time around, Arizona comes after a week off, and the odd date at Arkansas State isn't bad. They go from October 11th to November 29th with just one road game - at TCU. The Bad: The home games are super-dangerous - and that doesn't include the neutral site date in State is strong, Arizona will be far better, BYU and Arizona State were the two best teams in the Big 12 last year, and Iowa is always a 50/50 battle. Iowa State Football Schedule: Best and worst case scenarios Best Case Scenario: There's a nice run after starting the season with a nice win over K-State. The rivalry win over the Hawkeyes sends the season into overdrive and a win over Arkansas State. There will be bumps, but the Cyclones get to mid-November with the Big 12 Championship in play going into the dates against Kansas and Oklahoma State. Worst Case Scenario: The loss to the Wildcats starts the season off with a thud. Even worse, losing to Iowa all but ends any real College Football Playoff dreams before the middle of September. They struggle against Cincinnati and Colorado, and can't find any sort of a groove in a wildly disappointing November. It takes a win in the last two games to get bowl eligible. Season Prediction: (Feb. 5) The Season Prediction will be updated several times this offseasonBig 12 2025 SchedulesArizona | Arizona State | Baylor | BYUCincinnati | Colorado | Houston | Iowa StateKansas | Kansas State | Oklahoma State | TCUTexas Tech | UCF | Utah | West Virginia This story was originally reported by College Football News on Aug 9, 2025, where it first appeared.

Kansas State 2025 Football Schedule: Best & Worst Scenarios, Season Prediction
Kansas State 2025 Football Schedule: Best & Worst Scenarios, Season Prediction originally appeared on College Football News. 2025 Kansas State Football Schedule Aug 23 vs Iowa State (in Dublin)Aug 30 North DakotaSept 6 ArmySept 13 at ArizonaSept 20 OPEN DATESept 27 UCFOct 4 at BaylorOct 11 TCUOct 18 OPEN DATEOct 25 at KansasNov 1 Texas TechNov 8 OPEN DATENov 15 at Oklahoma StateNov 22 at UtahNov 29 Colorado Who does Kansas State miss from the Big 12 schedule? Arizona State, BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, UCF, West VirginiaThe Wildcats likely won't be all that happy with Houston, UCF, and West Virginia will be fine-to-stronger, but all four struggled last year and all four have to prove they can get up to speed and be factors. You'd rather play those four among the Big 12 teams than not. However, missing Arizona State and BYU might make up for it. Kansas State football schedule, the good and the bad The Good: Throw in the date in Dublin against Iowa State, and there's only one true road game in September and just two until the end of of the five road games are against teams that didn't go bowling last year, and the fifth team is Baylor. Thanks to that Ireland game, three open dates are well spread out. The Bad: Again, those four road games against teams that didn't go bowling are all going to be WAY better. The back-to-back road games against Oklahoma State and Utah will be a struggle, and that date against Iowa State is hardly a tap-in. Kansas State Football Schedule: Best and worst case scenarios Best Case Scenario: Beating Iowa State to kick things off is a big deal. It handles North Dakota and Army, and gets to 2-0 in the Big 12 with a key win over Arizona to stay unbeaten going into the off a win over UCF and tough victory over Baylor, the ranking keeps on rising as the wins keep on piling up. There's loss between Oklahoma State and Utah, but it's not enough to keep it out of the Big 12 Championship. Worst Case Scenario: A loss to Iowa State puts the pressure on from the start. After dropping the date at Arizona, it's a struggle to get back on track as the team powers through. Getting bowl eligible isn't a problem, but a loss to either Oklahoma State or Utah ends any Big 12 title 12 2025 SchedulesArizona | Arizona State | Baylor | BYUCincinnati | Colorado | Houston | Iowa StateKansas | Kansas State | Oklahoma State | TCUTexas Tech | UCF | Utah | West Virginia This story was originally reported by College Football News on Aug 9, 2025, where it first appeared.
