Halsey marks 10 years of BADLANDS with three anniversary editions featuring unreleased tracks

Halsey will celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut album BADLANDS with a trio of special editions releasing on August 29 2025 via UMe, Astralwerks, and Capitol Records. The new editions include BADLANDS Decade Edition, BADLANDS: Live From Webster Hall, and BADLANDS: Anthology. These versions feature a combination of unreleased demos, orchestral arrangements, remixes, and a full live performance from 2019. BADLANDS: Anthology will be released as a triple-disc vinyl set. It contains orchestral renditions, previously unreleased material, official remixes, and rarities. Meanwhile, BADLANDS: Live From Webster Hall will see Halsey's 2019 concert issued on coloured vinyl for the first time. Reflecting on the milestone, Halsey said: 'I can't believe it's been 10 years. So much has happened in the last decade, but BADLANDS remains the most exciting musical journey of my life. I have so many unbelievable things planned for this month to celebrate the album that changed my life and introduced me to the fans I'll love forever. This is just the beginning.' Originally released in 2015, BADLANDS has achieved over 3 million album-equivalent units in the US and more than 9 billion global streams. Every track on the album has been certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the RIAA—making it one of the few records to reach this level of certification for each song. The announcement follows Halsey's recent For My Last Trick tour, and the artist is expected to continue marking the anniversary throughout August.

Halsey shares unfiltered medical selfie, shows strength amid health struggles

On Sunday, June 22nd, Halsey took to social media and posted a picture with a medical port fitted on her chest after recent hospitalisation amid ongoing tour. The post included a total of six photos. Among them was a selfie where you can see the "Without Me" singer in a white tanktop standing in front of a hospital mirror. The post also included makeup-free selfie of Halsey smiling, a sweet moment with their 3-year-old son Ender Ridley Aydin, and a behind-the-scenes shot while getting hair and makeup done. The pictures were taken while they were on tour for 'For My Last Trick'. This comes after she revealed in June 2024 about being diagnosed with Lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder back in 2022.

Luciano Pavarotti Biopic Planned by ‘Quo Vado?' Producer and Late Tenor's Widow Nicoletta Mantovani, Penned by ‘Gomorrah' Writer (EXCLUSIVE)

Prominent Italian producer Pietro Valsecchi ('Quo Vado') is developing a high-end Luciano Pavarotti biopic for which he has secured a consulting agreement with Nicoletta Mantovani, the second wife of the late great tenor who broadened the audience for opera and became a global pop culture icon. A screenplay for the Pavarotti project is being penned by ace Italian screenwriter Leonardo Fasoli, a head writer on the series 'Gomorrah' which is Italy's top TV export. As part of the agreement, Mantovani 'will be actively involved in every aspect of the project, contributing first-hand to the narrative and artistic construction of the film,' according to a statement. Born in 1935 in Modena into a working-class family – his father was a baker, while his mother worked in a cigar factory – Luciano Pavarotti developed a passion for opera as a child thanks to his father, an amateur tenor. Thanks to his vibrant signature high C's and a knack for showmanship he became the most beloved and celebrated tenor since Enrico Caruso and one of the few opera singers to attain crossover fame. 'Luciano had a big dream, which was to bring opera back to the people, because when he was a kid opera was sung in the streets and was just like pop music today,' Mantovani told Variety. Pavarotti pursued this dream through the Three Tenors projects, a collective enterprise that saw him share the stage with Plácido Domingo and José Carreras and his 'Pavarotti and Friends' charity concerts, performing with rock stars such as Elton John, Sting and Bono. Valsecchi, who shepherded Italy's biggest all-time box office hit, the 2016 comedy 'Quo Vado,' said he is seeking an Italian actor to play the lead and will soon be announcing a director for the project that will differentiate itself from Ron Howard-directed 2019 doc 'Pavarotti' by having a 'more Italian soul' while being 'clearly universal.' The plan is to shoot the still untitled Italian and English language Pavarotti biopic in several countries. Halsey and Amy Lee of Evanescence have teamed up for a new collaboration, 'Hand That Feeds' The song marks the first collab for the pair, who Lee noted on social media are "fans of each other's work" Halsey hits the road on the For My Last Trick tour on May 10Amy Lee and Halsey have been "fans of each other's work" for a while, but now they're putting it on record. The Evanescence vocalist, 43, and "You Should Be Sad" singer, 30, have officially teamed up for a new collaboration, 'Hand That Feeds," released on Friday, May 9. The ballad, part of the soundtrack to From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, features the pair harmonizing with Lee showing off her signature belts. It serves as a treat to fans ahead of Evanescence joining Halsey as a guest during her forthcoming Wednesday, May 14 gig at the Hollywood Bowl. "So thrilled to bring you a new song, 'Hand That Feeds' with @halsey THIS FRIDAY," Lee wrote of the moment on X. "We've been fans of each other's work for a long time and it really feels like the universe pulled us together for this moment." "We already had the Hollywood Bowl show in place when @Lionsgate invited us to work on a song for the @ballerinamovie together, and it's finally time to serve it UP! Cannot wait for you all to hear!! 🖤" The song arrives ahead of the June release of Ballerina, which stars Ana de Armas in a spinoff of the popular Keanu Reeves-starring film franchise. It also arrives just before Halsey hits the road on their For My Last Trick tour, which kicks off on May 10 at Toyota Pavilion at Concord in Concord, Calif. From there, Halsey is set to continue the 32-date trek around North America by hitting stops in Phoenix, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, St. Louis and beyond — with their final tour date on July 6 at the Yaamava' Theater in Highland, Calif. Other special guests will include Del Water Gap, The Warning, Alvvays, Hope Tala, Sir Chloe, Royel Otis, Flowerovlove, Magdalena Bay, and Alemeda at select dates. Back in February, Halsey detailed the tour on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, sharing that she "really" likes "putting on a big show." "I think people are usually pretty surprised when they come see me in concert. Especially if they only know me for the songs on the radio," Halsey said. "The show can be quite aggressive. I'm like a little demon. I'm like a little demon up there.... I get out there and have to exorcise some stuff." Halsey released her fifth studio LP, The Great Impersonator, in October, while Evanescence's last full-length studio album, The Bitter Truth, arrived in 2021. As for Ballerina, outside of de Armas and Reeves, the film also features appearances from Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus and Ian McShane. It arrives in theaters on June 6. Read the original article on People
