Live updates - holiday traffic snarls tourism hotspots as temperatures soar
Traffic managers are reporting congestion on North Wales roads as holidaymakers take advantage of the fine weather.
Tailbacks have formed on traditional pinch points like the A55 Britannia Bridge. But there are also queues at Bala, Gwynedd, as daytrippers head to Llyn Tegid to cool off.
Other routes are also affected by large volumes of vehicles, reports Traffic Wales.

Heat stops trains
Delays and some cancellations to train services are being reported on the line between Wrexham Central and Bidston.
Transport for Wales says this is "due to a shortage of trains".
Rail passengers in South Wales are facing major travel disruption after the heatwave brought several Valleys lines to a complete standstill.
There are no services between Pontypridd and Merthyr and Aberdare as the railway line has been damaged by heat.
Transport for Wales (TfW) say they are unable to run any services on the line today for "safety reasons".
The cancellations are likely to cause significant disruption for the thousands of fans heading to the Stereophonics' second night at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.
Both lakeside car parks now closed
Eryri National Park Authority said the Llangower car park on on the south side of Llyn Tegid is also full.
If you were thinking of visiting the area this afternoon, park in town and walk down or arrange a visit at a different time.
