Hulk Hogan passes away: A Look at his Life with wife Sky Daily, children Brooke and Nick
Hulk Hogan, WWE icon, passed away at 71 on Thursday (July 24) in his Clearwater, Florida, home. Reports indicate that emergency responders were called to the scene due to a cardiac arrest, and despite efforts, Hogan was pronounced dead at Morton Plant Hospital. As the wrestling world mourns the loss of this iconic figure, his family, wife Sky Daily, and children Brooke and Nick remain a significant part of his legacy. Sky Daily, Hulk Hogan's third wife, is a certified yoga instructor. The couple's love story began in 2022, culminating in an engagement in July 2023 during actor Corin Nemec's wedding reception. They married in a private ceremony in Clearwater, Florida, on September 22, 2023. Sky Daily often shared her affection for Hogan on social media. Their bond appeared strong, with Daily by his side during his final moments. Despite recent health concerns following Hogan's spinal fusion surgery, Daily had denied rumours of serious heart issues, emphasizing his resilience. Brooke Hogan, born May 5, 1988, in Tampa, Florida, is Hogan's daughter from his first marriage to Linda Claridge (1983–2009). Growing up, Brooke was an active child, excelling in gymnastics, dance, and cheerleading. She pursued a career in entertainment, releasing her debut single, 'Everything to Me,' in 2004 and touring with artists like Hilary Duff and the Backstreet Boys. Brooke also ventured into wrestling, making her WWE debut in 2006 and later appearing as an onscreen personality for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Her relationship with her father faced challenges, notably when she chose not to attend his wedding to Sky Daily. Despite this, she expressed well wishes for her father, highlighting her focus on personal growth. Nick Hogan, born July 27, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, is Hogan's son from his marriage to Linda Claridge. He pursued motorsports, earning a Formula D competition license in 2006. However, his life took a dramatic turn in 2007 when he was involved in a car crash in Clearwater that left his friend John Graziano brain-dead. Nick, then 17, faced felony reckless driving charges, pleaded no contest, and served six months in Pinellas County Jail, followed by probation. Hogan's first marriage to Linda Claridge lasted from 1983 to 2009. His second marriage to Jennifer McDaniel (2010–2021) also ended in divorce, which Hogan announced on social media in 2022. His marriage to Sky Daily marked a new beginning. Born on August 11, 1953, in Augusta, Georgia, Hulk Hogan became a global icon with his charismatic persona, red-and-yellow gear, and catchphrase, 'Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?' Joining the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in 1979, he won his first WWF Championship in 1984, launching the 'Hulkamania' era that propelled wrestling into mainstream pop culture.

Formula D Car Taken Out by New Jersey Storm
The latest car news, reviews, and features. A nasty storm tore through parts of New Jersey Thursday afternoon, causing chaos at the Formula Drift event at Englishtown. It was particularly gnarly for Jeff Jones, who returned to the paddock to find a tree had fallen on his Z, puncturing the windshield and crushing the roof. Nobody was hurt in the incident, but the damage to the car was enough for Jones to rule out its participation in this weekend's event. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Formula DRIFT (@formulad) Jones shared photos and videos of the damage on Instagram, and even took over the official Formula D live stream to let fans know he was unharmed ( Warning: the clip above contains some colorful language ). He even jokingly asks if anybody has a spare drift car that he can enter into the event on Saturday. From the up-close pics, it appears that the culprit was a mature but diseased oak tree. It crushed much of the roof over the Z's passenger compartment and blew out the windshield entirely. Enough of it was resting on the car to completely bottom out its suspension. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jeff Jones (@jeffjonesracing) The good news is that the entire front clip of the car appears relatively undamaged, so everything under hood should have survived relatively unscathed. Even the driver-side door still opens. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jeff Jones (@jeffjonesracing) According to local weather forecasters have ruled out the likelihood that the damage was caused by a tornado, suggesting instead that it was caused by simple (but no less dangerous) straight-line winds. Local observers reported gusts exceeding 60 mph between 4:00 and 4:30 PM Thursday as the system moved through. Got flora crashing through your drift car's windshield? 5 Things You Missed at Formula D's Tire-Smoking 2025 Long Beach Event
The opening round of the 2025 Formula Drift season was, as you would expect, an all-out street fight in downtown Long Beach, California. The street-circuit racetrack that's well known for hosting the NTT IndyCar Series pitted new kids on the block against OG drivers and returning champions. Now in its 22nd season, Formula Drift has gone through a lot of changes. Read on to see five intriguing things you missed at Formula D Long Beach in 2025. 0:00 / 0:00 Fredric Aasbo Wins Fredric Aasbø took the win in the final battle against James Deane's Ford Mustang in his Toyota GR Supra machine. Aasbø, now riding on Kenda Tires after years on Nittos, battled his way through Connor O'Sullivan, Ken Gushi, Ryan Tuerck, and Branden Sorensen before facing Deane, the reigning champion. The King Has Returned Daigo Saito is back! After a 10-year hiatus, the legendary drifter from Japan is back in a BAPE-liveried Toyota GR86 powered by a VR38DETT engine. Unfortunately, he did run into some issues with his car and suffered a gnarly wall tap during his seeding battle. The former 2008 and 2016 D1GP champion, 2012 Formula Drift Asia, and 2012 Formula Drift U.S. champion remains a fan favorite. Seeding Bracket Formula D made a number of changes during its off-season, including a seeding bracket reconfiguration. To ensure the Top 32 competition heats have a driver to battle, the highest-finishing 12 drivers from the seeding bracket now duel it out. Unfortunately, the lowest-ranked drivers who lose the Top 16 seeding bracket heat are eliminated. At the Long Beach event, Federico Sceriffo and his Ferrari 599 GTB bowed out when he lost his heat. The New Drivers on the Block Aside from Saito's return, we saw a few more fresh faces hit the grid this year including Tommy Lemaire, O'Sullivan, Austin Matta, and Jack Shanahan. These drivers were thrown straight into the seeding bracket since they didn't have a 2024 ranking. What do you think was going through Shanahan's mind when he found he was going up against Saito? Same City, New Track Layout With the former California venue Irwindale Speedway's closure, Formula D needed a spot for its annual season-ending event. In Long Beach, the series revealed it will return to the city later this year with a vastly different course and a new event name, The Shoreline Showdown. It's scheduled for October 17–18.
