Sergio Perez could replace Franco Colapinto at Alpine if he doesn't join Cadillac: Reports

Sergio Perez , who was replaced by Liam Lawson at Red Bull after the 2024 F1 season, is now open to good options to make a comeback in 2026. Several reports have claimed that besides the name of the new 11th F1 team, Cadillac, doing the rounds, Alpine also seems to be considering Perez to drive alongside Pierre Gasly . Denver Broncos co-owner and F1 racer Lewis Hamilton to chair at Met Gala
DENVER (KDVR) — The annual Met Gala is happening on Monday, bringing dozens of the world's biggest names of celebrities, fashion designers, athletes and more to New York City for a formal dinner party and fashion exhibition. Co-owner of the Denver Broncos and Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton was selected as one of the co-chairs for this year's gala alongside Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, and Anna Wintour, as well as honorary chair Lebron James. He added that the thorn designs on his necklace show the pain that Black people experienced in the slave trade era. Red Bull principal Christian Horner has denied that the birth of Lily could impact Verstappen's performance on the track in any way. Red Bull principal on Max Verstappen becoming a father Christian Horner was among the first to congratulate Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet on the birth of their baby girl. He denied it could impact Verstappen's racing at all. While talking to the media, including Horner said, 'He's a pretty measured guy. He's got a stepdaughter as well. He's just very measured. He enjoys family life and for him it's business as usual.' Horner expressed confidence in Verstappen, saying he would be a very present father for sure. 'You've got to get involved with the nappies, in the middle of the night, all of that. It's the most wonderful thing, welcoming a new addition to any family,' he said. 'But I'm just thinking – the genes of that child are quite incredible. When you think of Verstappen and Piquet – if it was a racehorse, it'd be worth a fortune! Remembering Ayrton Senna: Alain Prost leads tributes as McLaren and Williams pay homage
Image credit: Alain Prost/Instagram It's been 31 years since Ayrton Senna 's tragic death when his Formula 1 car crashed into a chicane, claiming the F1 star's life. He was just 34. The incident occurred during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola in Italy. More than three decades later, Senna's fans and the entire car racing world remember the late driver. On the occasion, his biggest rival, Alain Prost , also shared an Instagram post in his remembrance. Alain Prost remembers Ayrton Senna Sharing a picture of Senna and himself seated at a press conference, Alain Prost wrote on his Instagram Story, 'Remembering.' Ayrton Senna and Prost were the biggest rivals even when they were teammates at McLaren and won 15 Grands Prix together. Such was the inter-team rivalry that they crashed into each other at the 1989 Japanese Grand Prix, killing any chances of either of them getting a spot on the podium. They continued to be rivals even after Prost moved to a different team, Ferrari. However, soon after Prost's retirement from F1 in 1993, the two reconnected and became friends before Senna passed away a year later. Prost had once told the Canal+ channel about their bond before Senna's death, 'In the six months before his death, we spoke regularly on the phone, sometimes two or three times a week. He was not the same anymore, he even begged me to come back.' Other tributes Formula 1 also shared several of Senna's race moments on Instagram and wrote, 'Ayrton Senna. Forever in our hearts. We remember the three-time champion on the anniversary of his tragic passing #SennaSempre.' McLaren also remembered its star driver. A picture of Senna was shared from its handle along with the caption: 'Gone but never forgotten. Today we remember the racing legend, Ayrton Senna.' The Brazilian driver won three Formula One World Drivers' Championship titles with McLaren. He held the record for most pole positions (65) and had won 41 Grands Prix across 11 seasons. He had moved from McLaren to Williams a year before his death. The official X handle shared a picture of Senna and simply captioned it: 'Senna Sempre.'
