The days of buying stuff with only a credit card are now going to end in Fortnite, thanks to the all new Fortnite Wallet Card. There is no doubt that Fortnite is one of the most popular games of all time, and also one of the richest gaming franchises as well, despite being a free-to-play title.
However, the credit goes to the game's diverse cosmetics. This epic battle royale title is known for its huge array of character skins, gliders, emotes, wraps, and many more. And who doesn't know about the larger-than-life collaborations of Fortnite! That is why to tick all your buying boxes in Fortnite, the Wallet Card is going to be pretty handy.

In Fortnite, almost everything you buy needs V-Bucks to purchase. This is the staple in-game currency in the title, exchanging which you can buy accessories and stuff like skins, emotes, and many more.
The primary source V-Bucks is the standard Battle Pass, which offers 200 V-Bucks each season.
If you want to go beyond that, then you need to buy V-Bucks from a retailer or online in the game with real-world money. But the catch is that you can buy that only by a credit card as other payment options aren't available. There are exclusive rewards in the game which can only be purchased through real-world money, obviously via a credit card, instead of V-Bucks.
That's where the Fortnite Wallet Card comes in. Those who don't own a credit card will soon be able to buy V-Bucks or those exclusive rewards via this new card. So, what are these? Fortnite Wallet Cards is a special type of physical forms of real-world money which players can cash-in the game without any hassle. These cards aren't available in the game right now, but according to rumors, will be launched later this year in the game.
These Wallet Cards come in different values ranging from $15 to $150. However, players need to keep in mind that they look quite similar to the already existing V-Bucks cards but unlike these, the Wallet Card doesn't add V-Bucks to your Fortnite account, it adds actual money. With this money, you will be able to buy V-Bucks as well as previously mentioned exclusive in-game stuff.
For those who are wondering what will happen to the residual money in the account can rest assured as the remaining fund will stay in the account. Now, it's still unclear if this card is accessible in Fortnite only, or players will be able to use it across their Epic Games accounts, like in other games or for other Epic Games Store contents.
