It has been an eventful Game 2 for Draymond Green thus far, to say the least. The Golden State Warriors star was called for a technical foul in the second quarter of the game after hitting Minnesota Timberwolves big man Naz Reid with an elbow to the head. Advertisement This put Green in a precarious situation. That was Green's fifth technical foul of the postseason, which puts him just two more techs away from an automatic one-game suspension. On top of that, Green also has two flagrant points in the playoffs, which will lead to another one-game suspension if he gets hit with a Flagrant Foul 2 or two Flagrant 1s. The NBA reacted to the big news by sending the former Defensive Player of the Year a congratulatory message for moving to the No. 14 spot for the most assists in the postseason. It is worth noting that with this recent feat, Green is just 15 dimes behind the GOAT himself, Michael Jordan, for the 13th spot on the esteemed list. It's very much possible that Green surpasses the six-time NBA champ during this Timberwolves series, especially with Golden State's primary playmaker, Steph Curry, out injured. That is, of course, under the premise that Green is able to avoid getting sanctioned with an automatic suspension by the NBA.
