Robert 'Bob 'V. Scheetz, Youngstown, Ohio
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Robert 'Bob 'V. Scheetz passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth hospital in Youngstown, on Wednesday April 16, 2025, with his family at his side.
Bob was born in Youngstown on May 30, 1946, the son of the late Walter Joseph and Anne L. McGraw Scheetz and was a lifelong area resident.

He attended St. Patrick's school and graduated from Cardinal Mooney class of 1964. Bob graduated from the University of Detroit with a bachelor's degree in English.
Bob was a self-employed contractor, he was his own hardest worker, he felt he could fix anything and everything. Nothing was beyond reason for him to repair.
He enjoyed reading and especially loved a good debate. Bob was very passionate about Shakespeare and poetry.
Bob was a kind and gentle man, always very loyal and conscientious. Family was everything to him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Mary Scheetz of Youngstown, he also leaves his sister Kathryn Flesse of Madina, and brother Thomas (Alejandra) Scheetz of Buenos Aires.
Bob had a special relationship with his nieces and nephews Charles 'Kenny' (Lisa) Flesse and Kristine (John) Korber and Thomas (Amanda) Flesse. And Erin (Kevin) Thies. Plus, several great nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Bob was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Charles Flesse.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 – 10:50 a.m. Saturday May 3, 2025, at St. Patrick's Church 1420 Oak Hill Ave. Youngstown, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Very Rev. Thomas Kraszewski
The burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The Scheetz family request material tributes be given in Bob's name to St. Patrick Church 1420 Oak Hill Ave. Youngstown, Ohio 44507.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
