'As a public school district, we're tasked with educating students so that they can leave high school as productive citizens that are able to positively contribute to our society,' a district official said. 'I think what you are going to discover is that this group of young men and women definitely rise to that level.'
The program aims to equip students with practical skills and real-world experience in the trades.
