Comedian Jim Gaffigan to tickle Delaware this summer. Here's when tickets go on sale

More comedic star power is coming to Delaware this summer, highlighted by the newly announced addition of Jim Gaffigan coming to the Freeman Arts Pavilion in Selbyville. On top of that, two new concerts have been added to the Freeman Arts' 18th season with Locals Under the Lights and Face 2 Face: A Tribute to Elton John & Billy Joel. Tickets for Gaffigan and the above concerts go on sale April 18. This season at the Freeman Arts will feature over 70 performances, including concerts, children's performances, theater and more, according to a statement organizers. Below is a preview of all the acts that have been confirmed so far for the Freeman Arts' new season, which launches May 30. One of the biggest names in comedy is Jim Gaffigan, who is on his "Everything Is Wonderful!" tour. The comedian has earned eight Grammy nominations for his comedy albums. In November, his 11th comedy special, "The Skinny," premiered globally on Hulu. The comedy special feeds Gaffigan's fans his fresh-yet-edgy content, ranging from appetite suppressants to parenting teens. Gaffigan has appeared in several TV shows and films like "Super Troopers (1 & 2)," "Bob's Burgers," "Peter Pan & Wendy," "SNL" and more. He even starred in "The Jim Gaffigan Show," which he wrote and produced with his wife, Jeannie, according to his bio on IMDB. His bio also states Gaffigan is a multi-platinum-selling recording artist and the first comedian to hit 1 billion streams on Pandora, plus he's done humorous commentaries on "CBS Sunday Morning'' that led him to win three Emmys. There's a classic comedy bit from Gaffigan's 2006 special, "Beyond the Pale," where he teased his relationship with Hot Pockets, which included him joking about the cheesy treats essentially being a Pop-Tart with meat. He split sides when he poked fun at Hot Pockets for reaching temperatures that tasted like "boiling-lava hot."
