President Macron set tongues wagging during his visit to the White House for Ukraine peace talks - but it wasn't the diplomacy that caught attention.
The French leader turned heads when he arrived for yesterday's summit with a deep tan after returning from his south of France holiday.
Macron's glow was so striking that some joked he could be competing with famously 'orange' Donald Trump in the presidential tanning stakes as the pair both sported a bronzed appearance.
And, it wasn't just Macron's sun-kissed look that was a talking point, but also his multi-colored hair palette - brown on the top that spackled over any thin spots, as well as gray specks on his sideburns.
This is only the latest time macron's image has stolen the spotlight.

And last year, Macron sparked ridicule with a set of black-and-white boxing photos as he attempted to position himself as the strongman of Europe, standing up to Putin.
The pictures were released by Macron's official photographer Sazig de la Moissonniere and show the French leader in a boxing gym yesterday, where he flexed his muscles as he hit a punching bag.
His face set in a determined grimace, Macron aimed to show off his fighting spirit and determination after military experts said he is bidding to lead NATO as a 'Napoleon'.
Macron's cringe-worthy portrayal of strength with the boxing photos resemble similar attempts by Russian president Putin, whose office previously released photos of him beating an opponent in Judo, playing ice hockey or riding shirtless on a horse.

Trump called Macron 'someone who's been with me from the beginning.' He called him 'one of the first people I met as a foreign dignitary' and said he 'liked him from Day One.'
'I like him even more now – that's pretty good. That's unusual,' Trump said, underlining for effect, 'That's a pretty unusual thing.'
Trump's comments certainly smoothed over the drama of their first encounter during his first term when the two presidents engaged in an epic viral handshake.
