Flyers suffer worst loss of the season, 75-53 to St. Bonaventure
ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The University of Dayton men's basketball team fell flat at St. Bonaventure on Tuesday night, falling 75-53 to the Bonnies in Atlantic 10 action at the Reilly Center.
It's the Flyers' largest loss of the season (22 points) and worst loss ever to St. Bonaventure.
The Flyers could not overcome a scorching shooting performance from the Bonnies, who shot 50.9% from the floor and 48% from beyond the three-point line. UD shot 40.4% from the floor and 33.3% from downtown.
Senior Nate Santos was Dayton's high scorer, leading the team with 12 points. Fellow senior Enoch Cheeks also finished the game in double-digits with 10. Junior Isaac Jack had nine points and four rebounds off the bench.
