Mauritania stands firm : President rejects Polisario's plea to reopen Lebriga border
Mauritanian President Mohamed Cheikh Ould El Ghazouani has rejected the Polisario's request to reverse the decision to close the Lebriga region, located on the border with Algeria—a measure implemented by the Mauritanian army on May 21. «This refusal was communicated to the head of the Front's delegation, which traveled to Nouakchott on Friday following mediation by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune», a source close to the matter told Yabiladi. The Polisario delegation remains in Mauritania. On Sunday, they met with Sid Ahmed Ould Mohamed, the secretary-general of the Insaf Party (Equity), which is affiliated with President Ould El Ghazouani. Meanwhile, Sahrawis living in the Tindouf camps expressed their skepticism on Sunday, June 1, through audio messages, questioning «the Mauritanian army's ability to secure its borders». They stressed that achieving this objective «necessarily requires the support of the Sahrawi Republic and Algeria». Some even accompanied their «analyses» with threats against Mauritania's economic interests.

Feyli Kurdish Front demands recognition, rights on 8th anniversary
Shafaq News/ On Saturday, the Feyli Kurdish Front marked its eighth anniversary with a ceremony in Baghdad, renewing its call for justice, legal recognition, and political inclusion. The event, held at the party's headquarters, brought together political leaders, civil society groups, and activists. Speakers highlighted the Feyli Kurds' long-standing grievances, including forced displacement, confiscated property, and systemic exclusion—urging enforcement of constitutional rulings in their favor. Speaking to Shafaq News, Maher Rashid al-Feyli, Secretary-General of the Front, reaffirmed the group's sole mandate to represent the community's interests, encouraging unity among Feyli Kurds and stressing that achieving formal political and legal status remains the movement's top goal. While open to cooperation with other Feyli organizations, he dismissed broader coalitions, accusing dominant parties of 'stalling efforts' to restore the community's rights. Deputy Secretary-General Hamid Rashid described the anniversary as a 'strategic moment' ahead of national elections, revealing that the Front is actively evaluating alliance offers. 'We're a political home for every Feyli Kurd. Institutional recognition remains our driving mission.' Shamil al-Feyli, Deputy Secretary-General of the al-Walaa Movement, called for unity among Feyli groups, framing the gathering as 'a reaffirmation of a shared struggle for dignity.' Meanwhile, Sabah Nour al-Din, head of the Front's Women's Committee, urged national parties to support the Feyli cause. 'Our suffering demands accountability,' she remarked to our agency, adding, 'Empowering the Feyli community must become a national responsibility.'

PFLP: Deporting four released prisoners to occupied West Bank
Occupied Quds - Saba: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) considered the Israeli enemy's decision to deport four released prisoners to the occupied West Bank a dangerous political shift in the tools used to control Quds and a legal precedent aimed at establishing forced deportation as a permanent means of striking at all those who engage in resistance. This is part of a systematic policy to undermine the Palestinian presence and dismantle its national and social fabric. The PFLP affirmed on Friday that this decision falls within the framework of an Israeli colonial mentality that uses policies of revoking identity cards, demolishing homes, deportation, and the desecration of holy sites as complementary tools to impose Judaization and demographic reengineering of the city in favor of the annexation and uprooting project. The Front stressed that this decision constitutes a clear violation of Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits the forcible transfer of protected persons. It comes amid international silence that encourages the occupation to persist in its colonial policies without accountability. The Front indicated that confronting this course of action requires raising the national and international voice and activating comprehensive resistance in Quds and other areas, as part of a struggle strategy that fortifies the Palestinian presence and prevents its uprooting. Public Front calls for more global public anger to stop aggression on Gaza
Gaza - Saba: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine called on the Arab masses on Wednesday to escalate their popular and national movement in the face of Zionist aggression, oppose normalization, and pressure to stop the war and break the siege on the Palestinian people. The Front stressed, in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on the occasion of the 600th day of the war, the ongoing criminal Zionist genocide against the Gaza Strip, underscoring the need for everyone to participate in confronting the war of starvation being carried out by Zionist and Western tools, affirms the centrality of Palestine in the Arab conscience and the unity of our common destiny. It emphasized that the top priority is to immediately halt the aggression and break the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, considering this a responsibility that falls on the international community and humanity as a whole. The Front said in its statement: "This destructive criminal war would not have continued without the full American support, funding, and complicity—militarily, politically, and financially—which has provided cover for the Zionist enemy to continue committing its crimes and violating international law. This makes the US administration a direct partner in the ongoing war crimes." It urged "continuation and escalation of global popular and mass pressure in the coming hours and days in squares, capitals, and at the gates of embassies and institutions of aggression around the world, in support of the rights of the Palestinian people, demanding an end to the aggression, breaking the siege, and bringing the leaders of the Zionist enemy to justice for their crimes." It also called for "The necessity of confronting the enemy's plan to starve the Palestinian people through so-called 'famine engineering,'" the Front stressed, stressing that aid should only be delivered through relevant UN agencies, and refusing to deal with any suspicious organization that serves as a cover for the enemy's agendas and tools. The Front added in its statement: "Today we commemorate the 600th day of the ongoing criminal Zionist war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, which constituted and continues to constitute one of the most heinous and horrific human crimes of the modern era before the eyes of the world." It continued, "Our Palestinian people in Gaza are subjected to indescribable horrors, including mass massacres, daily holocausts, the deliberate killing of children and women, the targeting of hospitals, health centers, shelters, doctors, ambulance crews, and journalists, the destruction of infrastructure and homes over the heads of their residents, and the imposition of policies of forced displacement and starvation, in an attempt to empty Gaza of its people and complete the project of genocide and population displacement." The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) considered confronting the aggression and confronting the Zionist and American liquidationist schemes a battle for all of humanity against this fascist Zionist entity. It also called for expanding and strengthening the resistance front and for global action to halt the aggression, lift the siege, and hold the criminal killers accountable. ///////////////// Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
