Front & Female Awards Singapore 2025: Public nominations open for the inaugural event

The Front & Female Awards, which recognises the individuals inspiring progress for women and girls and effecting change for women, is launching in Singapore, and nominations are now open This year marks the launch of the inaugural Front & Female Awards in Singapore. Following successful awards in Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Philippines, it is time to recognise the individuals supporting and advancing women and girls in Singapore. The Front & Female Awards, which first launched in Hong Kong in 2022, recognises those who are inspiring progress for women and girls and effecting change for women, either directly or indirectly through their work and lives: by blazing a trail and breaking barriers so others can follow by advocating for rights and equality by closing gender gaps by driving the female agenda by serving as a role model for other women Awardees should have launched or grown an impactful initiative or made impact in the past 18 months that inspires or supports the advancement of women. Impact should predominantly be in Singapore. See also: From visionary tech leaders to founders smashing stereotypes—meet the winners of the Front & Female Awards 2025 For the Front & Female Awards Singapore 2025, we aim to award individuals in the following categories: Social Impact Award: For an individual supporting underserved, overlooked, vulnerable, underprivileged or minority women and girls, and/or seeking to drive human rights and equality. Business Leader Award: For an individual helping to elevate and advance women in corporate, business or professional fields. Founder Award: For a female entrepreneur or founder breaking ground for other women and helping to close the gender gap. Innovation Award: For an individual driving progress for women and girls or advancing the female agenda in a particularly visionary, innovative or unusual way. Well-being Award: For an individual whose work addresses the well-being of women and girls, whether physical, mental, social, sexual or financial. Rising Champion: For an individual under 30 years old (on 30/6/2025) who is working to champion women and girls and drive their advancement. Beyond Borders Award, presented by The Luxury Group by Marriott International: For an individual who is expanding opportunities and/or driving meaningful change for women and/or girls both within and beyond her geographical or industry borders. The most important conversations about women's health will be happening in Asia

A global women's health summit in Hong Kong will bring together some of the world's brightest minds in science, healthcare and femtech to address this neglected area of modern medicine and highlight the business of women's health Renowned clinicians, cutting-edge tech founders, femtech leaders and influential figures in women's health are converging in Hong Kong this June for the Women's Health in Focus global summit, a groundbreaking event poised to redefine and rewrite the future of women's health. Hosted by Front & Female Awards nominee Maaike Steinebach's Femtech Future and Gen.T honouree Anca Griffith's OM Health Hub, this two-day summit will take place at the Asia Society Hong Kong on June 16 and 17. The summit addresses a critical and long-standing disparity: women's health has been historically under-researched, underfunded and underserved. Statistics paint a stark picture: over 700 diseases take between three and seven years longer to diagnose in women compared to men; women spend 25 per cent more time than men in 'poor health'; and 80 per cent of drug withdrawals are attributed to adverse side effects in women, highlighting the research gap in women's health. Furthermore, only 2 per cent of private funding is allocated to women's health initiatives, highlighting a significant investment gap.
