Frontier Media AI appoints Matt Hunt CEO & launches AI platform
Frontier Media AI has appointed Matt Hunt as its new Chief Executive Officer and introduced an outcome-based business model powered by a proprietary artificial intelligence operating system.
The company, part of the Venetian Media Group, is positioning its Frontier OS operating system as an end-to-end solution for automating marketing tasks and improving agency-client alignment. According to the company, the new operating system powers more than 25 marketing AI agents that collectively automate over 100 tasks spanning strategy, media, and creative functions.
Frontier Media AI intends to address three core challenges cited by today's business leaders: managing the transition to AI-powered marketing, enhancing agency value through performance-driven agreements, and improving advertising quality by shifting creative focus from repetitive processes to higher-value work.
AI-driven operations
The company's Frontier OS system is designed to automate a substantial portion of marketing operations, with a stated aim of reducing lead times, improving campaign performance, and enabling human staff to focus on creative pursuits. Frontier Media AI's approach incorporates outcome-based pricing intended to directly link agency compensation to the success achieved for clients.
The outcome-based approach is described as a departure from traditional agency models. Michael Fishwick, Chief Executive Officer at Venetian Media Group, commented on the model's introduction: "Let's call it what it is, the current agency model is perverse. It rewards inefficiency, punishes creativity, and fuels burnout. Frontier Media AI is our counterpunch, built for brands that want real results, not time sheets."
Fishwick said the company's transformation is not a case of overlaying new technology onto existing structures, but a complete overhaul centred around artificial intelligence.
Leadership appointment
Matt Hunt, who was formerly Managing Director for Amobee Australia and founder at Geronimo, has been named Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Media AI. Hunt brings twenty years of experience in building and scaling technology ventures and has a reputation for a commercially focused style of leadership. He outlined his perspective on how the firm is meeting shifting client expectations and needs in marketing around artificial intelligence: "CMOs are under pressure to deliver an AI plan," says Hunt. "AI offers the edge they need but while most companies are experimenting, very few are transforming. Frontier OS TM is their unfair advantage."
Hunt is positioning the company as a strategic partner for Chief Marketing Officers and brands seeking rapid transformation in their marketing operations through artificial intelligence integration.
Market position
Frontier Media AI offers its services from offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Singapore. The company operates as part of Venetian Media Group's portfolio, which includes various media and advertising businesses serving the Australia and New Zealand region.
The company's proprietary platform is reportedly being used for live campaigns by mid-market brands in Australia and New Zealand. According to company materials, the platform integrates functions from research and strategy to creative and media placement, using AI technologies at its core.
