Opal Fruits were one of the nation's most popular sweets.
The soft, fruit-flavoured taffy products first hit the market in 1959 and came in a range of delicious flavours.
Each pack contained blackcurrant, lemon and lime, orange and strawberry treats.
However, The Wrigley Company - the products manufacturer - changed the name of the product to the iconic Starburst.
Now, Opal Fruits are only available in their original packaging as special edition promotions.
And, after 27 years, they're back on the shelves again.
One eagle-eyed shopper took to Facebook to announce the product's return.
According to him, the snacks are retailing for just 31p.
The shopper wrote: 'Bargain find in Tesco's, 31p, reduced to clear, not sure all of them are at the price.'
One excited shopper commented that the sweet treats were 'made to make your mouth water'.

Another raved: 'Opal fruits….I loved them!'
The news comes just days after Aldi went viral for bringing back a classic sweet treat from its customers' childhoods.
The budget retailer is selling Fruit Chewy Candy bars for just 95p and they come in a variety of flavours.
Available in three varieties - namely Raspberry, Cherry and Grapefruit - each pack contains six strips of sour chew candy.
Fans of the sweet went wild on social media when their return was announced.
One said: "Oh my god I haven't eaten them since I was a child! They are amazing!"
Another added: "Please if you ever see these, I will give you the money for 10 packets, I haven't seen these since I was a child."
