Missed our first CQ @ Clarke Quay x Time Out Bar Hop in April? Don't worry – we've got you. We're teaming up with CQ once again for another exclusive bar hop on June 5, taking you through four standout spots, each serving up signature cocktails, savoury bites, and plenty of good vibes that guarantee a night to remember. You won't want to sit this one out. Keep reading for all the juicy details.
When is the CQ @ Clarke Quay x Time Out Bar Hop happening?
Circle the date because this spirited bar crawl is happening on June 5, from 7.30pm to 10.45pm. Of course, if you're just getting into the groove by then, nothing's stopping you from keeping the party going.
Which bars will be participating?
Get ready to hop your way through four of CQ's hottest spots. Recharge after a long day at Fu Lin, a modern Asian restaurant and bar famed for its crispy take on yong tau foo, upping the ante with cocktails and live acoustic bands to set the mood. Next, turn up the heat at Señor Taco, where tacos, tequila, and Latin beats bring big fiesta energy. Then keep the night rolling at PULSE – housed in the 154-year-old heritage mansion The Riverhouse that now pulses (pun intended) with live DJ sets and old-school-meets-new-school party vibes. And, of course, no night out is complete without a mic moment — themed karaoke bar Karaoke is decked with 22 Instagrammable sci-fi rooms, from experimental labs to spacecraft for you to unleash your inner popstar.
What food and drinks can I expect?
Let's be real – a proper night out needs great drinks and even greater bar bites. Fu Lin is serving up bold cocktails like the creamy-spicy Ain't FuLin Around, the citrusy Wonderland, and the smoky Nana Boulevardier. Pair them with the restaurant's glorious combo platter, which includes prawn paste wings, chicken karaage, prawn tempura, and luncheon fries, or its signature fried yong tau foo, and you'll be buzzing for the next stop.
Over at Señor Taco, you'll be treated to a choice of a tangy margarita, smoky yuzu mezcalita, or a refreshing paloma, and bar bites including tacos, chips with guacamole, and chicken quesadilla.
PULSE keeps the energy flowing with heritage-inspired cocktails like the Nanyang Coffee, Kao Liang Sour, and Chinese Old Fashioned, served with crispy fried potato chips and moreish salted egg fish skin – just the fuel you need for some late-night boogie.
And when it's time to channel your favourite diva, Karaoke has you covered. Choose from Scavi and Ray Moscato or Millers draft beer, and load up on nibbles like sweet potato fries, seaweed chicken, and calamari wings, and sing like no one's watching.
