Steph Curry will be listening to what Azzi Fudd has to say Azzi Fudd announced her new podcast on Friday called 'Fudd Around and Find Out' which will be co-produced by Steph Curry and Erick Peyton. This was the latest addition to a growing list of women podcasters under iHeart Women's Sports, which recently marked its one-year anniversary. The UConn superstar is all set to let the fans sneak a peek into the gruelling journey which she has undertaken over the years. iHeart released a statement announcing the introduction of the podcast, underscoring that it will shed light on Fudd's incredible journey to date. Fudd herself was part of the introduction, revealing the topics she will discuss. However, much to her surprise, Steph Curry gave her a shoutout, which could prove to be a massive catalyst for her podcasting journey. Hyping up the introduction, the Golden State Warriors point guard, Steph Curry, took to Instagram. He posted a story, sharing the introductory post, adding a caption which said, 'New podcast @azzi35 Best believe I'll be listening! Check it out, 8/7'. Curry and Peyton further added that Azzi Fudd has always been a charismatic personality and all the hard work that she has put in, deserves to see the light of the day. Both Curry and Peyton said that Fudd had the 'charisma, authenticity and fearless spirit' to motivate people, particularly all those women who nurture a dream. Azzi Fudd and Steph Curry go a long way back Fudd and Curry don't share a newfound friendship. It all started back in 2018 when then 15-year-old Fudd joined Curry's basketball camp called the SC30 in Oakland. However, things didn't really go smoothly for Fudd as the following year saw her suffering a torn ACL and an MCL in her right knee. Despite her injuries, she ensured the fact that she continued taking part in the camp, a bold move which actually did pay handsome dividends. Curry always supported Fudd, with one of his biggest moves being him wearing Fudd's UConn jersey to a post-game interview on the occasion of the latter turning 20. It was a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, where Steph dropped 40 points, almost single-handedly propelling his team to a staggering win. Curry said in that post-match interview, 'Wanted to shout her out. Basketball is basketball, and continuing to do our part to shine a light and celebrate those women who are doing amazing things on the court." Azzi Fudd, a star player for the University of Connecticut women's basketball team, 2025 NCAA champions, joins the iHeart Women's Sports podcast and will launch her own podcast titled "Fudd Around and Find Out." iHeart Women's Sports is the first-ever audio platform dedicated exclusively to women's sports, offering a unique perspective and insights. They have partnered with Fudd to co-produce a podcast in collaboration with Stephen Curry and Erick Peyton's Unanimous Media, celebrating the one-year anniversary of the platform. iHeart Women's Sports, with its unique focus, averages 89 million monthly listeners across nearly 500 broadcast radio stations. 'I think we can safely say that women's sports is not just having a moment, but rather is on a now-undeniable trajectory that has been building for years. One year ago we launched iHeart Women's Sports knowing that fans were eager to feel more connected to their favorite players, teams and even other fans, and we are continuing to drive that progress forward,' said Jessie Katz, Head of iHeart Women's Sports said in a press release. Azzi Fudd is a senior on the UConn women's basketball team and was part of the 2025 national championship team. Throughout her time at UConn, Fudd has faced several injuries that sidelined her, including an ACL injury during her junior year that ended her season. Fudd made a strong comeback in her senior year, averaging 13.6 points, 2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. Her outstanding performance helped UConn defeat South Carolina for the title, earning her the NCAA Women's Basketball Most Outstanding Player award. Fudd announced earlier this year that she will return to UConn for a final season to allow her to "work on everything I need to work on" and elevate her game to the next level.
