Club hold 'positive' talks over Premier League move for ex-Celtic star
The Japanese striker joined the French club from Celtic in January but has failed to make an impact, playing just six times without scoring. The 30-year-old striker spent three-and-a-half successful seasons at Celtic Park after joining the club from Vissel Kobe for a fee of £4.5million, winning four Scottish Premiership titles, three Scottish League Cups and two Scottish Cups and scoring 85 goals in the process. 'After careful consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, including the available admissible evidence, the Procurator Fiscal decided that there should be no further proceedings at this time. "The Crown reserves the right to proceed in the future should further evidence become available." Recent reports have suggested that the ex-Celt could land a move back to the UK, but south of the border this time. His time in France has been a nightmare as he's struggled for playing time and looked like he might have been heading quickly for the exit door. After which, he said: "I was happy to get to meet someone I wanted to see while on the off-season and I was looking forward to seeing him play.
