Fuzion in Abergavenny awarded five-star hygiene rating
Fuzion, on Frogmore Street, in Abergavenny, was given the top rating following an inspection on June 17. Food safety officers were satisfied with the restaurant's hygienic food handling, cleanliness, and overall management of food safety. The inspection found the hygienic handling of food, including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling, and storage, was "good." The cleanliness and condition of facilities and the building, including the layout, ventilation, handwashing facilities, and pest control, were also deemed "good." Finally, the system and checks in place to ensure the food served is safe to eat and the staff's knowledge of food safety resulted in the food safety officer having confidence that standards will be maintained in the future. The team said on their Facebook on June 17: "We're thrilled to share that Fuzion has been awarded a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating. "From day one, we've made it our mission to serve delicious, thoughtful food in a clean, safe, and welcoming space - and this recognition means the world to us.
