NIT Trichy launches national flag awareness drive
Trichy: As part of
Independence Day celebrations
, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy on Wednesday launched a door-to-door National Flag Movement awareness drive. The initiative, in line with the Centre's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign from Aug 13 to 15, includes rallies, yoga sessions, and art programmes.
Free cloth flags were distributed to students, faculty, and staff to encourage participation. NIT director G. Akila and other officials took part, urging citizens to display the tricolour at their homes on Independence Day.
