G. Pullaiah College of engineering hosts 4th graduation day
G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology, Kurnool, celebrated its fourth Graduation Day on Saturday. JNTU Anantapur Vice-Chancellor Prof. H. Sudarsana Rao was the chief guest of the event which was held at the college open auditorium amid a large gathering of students, parents, faculty members, and dignitaries.
The ceremony commenced with a traditional march-past by the NCC cadets. About 800 undergraduate B. Tech students and 60 postgraduate MBA students were conferred with their degrees in a formal convocation ceremony. The graduates received their certificates amidst loud cheers and joyous applause from their families and friends, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey.
In his address, Prof. Sudarsana Rao emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary learning and encouraged students to explore emerging domains like quantum computing, which is shaping the future of technology. He urged graduates to stay updated with evolving trends in science and technology and adapt with a mindset of continuous learning.
Prof. Sudarsana Rao highlighted the necessity of maintaining a balance between professional aspirations and personal life, stressing that true success lies in holistic well-being and ethical practice.
Addressing the students, Ravindra Educational Institutions Secretary G. Pullaiah asked the young graduates to utilize opportunities and make the most of their abilities.
On the occasion, gold medals were awarded to the toppers of various departments, recognising their outstanding performance and dedication.
