We Ardently Admire This First Look at Netflix's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE Limited Series

Highlights Netflix unveiled a first-look photo of the cast of their Pride and Prejudice adaptation. Pride and Prejudice Said first look pulls back the curtain on Mrs. Bennet and her daughters. Production for the six-part limited series is currently underway in the UK. Pride and Prejudice This first look at Netflix's adaptation of Jane Austen's 1813 novel Pride and Prejudice has bewitched us, body and soul. Okay, I know that bit is exclusive to the 2005 film, but it's a damn good Mr. Darcy line. The streamer shared a photo of the Bennet matriarch and sisters as production is finally underway on the six-part limited series. In the image, we see Mrs. Bennet walking through a field with her daughters Elizabeth, Jane, Mary, Lydia and Kitty. RELATED: Everything Coming to Netflix in August 2025 About the Series Here's a logline for the adaptation per Netflix: ' Pride and Prejudice, one of the most iconic novels of all time, is coming to Netflix as an all-new 6-part limited series. The series will be a faithful, classic adaptation of the novel, written by Dolly Alderton ( Everything I Know About Love ) and directed by Euros Lyn ( Heartstopper ).' The Cast Pride and Prejudice stars Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet, Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy, Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet, Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, Hopey Parish as Mary Bennet, Hollie Avery as Kitty Bennet, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourgh. As of writing, Pride and Prejudice doesn't have a release date, but Netflix teases that it's 'coming soon.'
