Singapore is the only international promotional stop outside of South Korea.
There are 300 tickets to the gala premiere, held at GVmax in GV VivoCity, up for grabs. Priced at $55 (for Golden Village Movie Club members) and $60 (for non-members), they will go on sale on July 21 from 3pm via GV sales channels.
Lee and Ahn will greet fans in the cinema before the 8.30pm screening, and joining them is director Kim Byung-woo.
Opening in Singapore cinemas on July 31 and rated NC16, Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy is told from the point of view of Kim Dok-ja (Ahn), an office worker who is a devoted reader of a web novel called Three Ways To Survive The Apocalypse.
After sending an angry text to its author for the terrible ending, Dok-ja suddenly finds himself in the world of the novel that is doomed for destruction.
Banking on his knowledge of the storyline, he teams up with its characters, including the hero Yu Jung-hyeok (Lee), to fight for survival, writing a new ending along the way.
