Navitas Semiconductor has announced a strategic partnership with Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC) to advance the production of 200mm GaN-on-silicon technology. This collaboration is aimed at enhancing the supply chain, driving innovation, and improving cost efficiency, which could accelerate the adoption of GaN in sectors including AI data centers, electric vehicles (EVs), and solar power. Powerchip's facilities in Taiwan will support the production and development of these semiconductors, which are known for their efficiency and performance improvements.
