LEGO launching two new Gabby's Dollhouse sets ahead of film release
The LEGO Group and Universal Products & Experiences are launching two new LEGO Gabby's Dollhouse sets inspired by DreamWorks Animation's upcoming Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie. The new LEGO sets for ages 4+ will bring to life scenes and characters from the film and will be available August 1, 2025, ahead of Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie, which debuts in cinemas worldwide on September 26, 2025. The LEGO Gabby's Dollhouse sets are designed to enhance the imaginative play experience for preschoolers, while allowing fans to immerse themselves into the Gabby universe with opportunities for creative hands-on play. The LEGO Group released its first wave of Gabby's Dollhouse sets in May 2023, and fans can still purchase the LEGO Gabby's Dollhouse (10788) via and select retailers. Since its launch in 2021, Gabby's Dollhouse has captured the hearts of preschoolers and families globally. Each episode is rooted in a growth mindset and follows the adventures of Gabby, a young girl who unboxes a surprise, leading her into an animated world full of cat characters that live inside her dollhouse. The series encourages flexible thinking and learning from mistakes, while exploring themes of family, friendship and teamwork. Gabby role models resilience, discovery, creativity and problem-solving. The 103-piece set is filled with features including sea creatures and aquarium animals, allowing children to recreate stories and role-play adventures of their own inspired by Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie. LEGO Gabby's Dollhouse Sweet Treat Mountain & Kitty Garden (11205) is a 263-piece set featuring locations from the upcoming Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie and adored characters from the series such as Gabby, Pandy Paws, Chumsley, Cakey, Eraser Cat, Cookie Bobby and Kitty Fairy. The set invites builders into a sugary, sparkly world with a candy-colored Sweet Treat Mountain filled with donut floats, cake-tops peaks, and big ice cream cones.

Kristen Wiig Steals Gabby's Dollhouse in Live-Action Movie Trailer
Universal Pictures has shared the official trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of DreamWorks Animation's hit Netflix series. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 26. 'In the new film, Gabby heads out on a road trip with her Grandma Gigi to the urban wonderland of Cat Francisco. But when Gabby's dollhouse, her most prized possession, ends up in the hands of an eccentric cat lady named Vera, Gabby sets off on an adventure through the real world to get the Gabby Cats back together and save the dollhouse before it's too late,' reads the official synopsis. Joining her is Oscar nominee Kristen Wiig, who will be playing the film's main antagonist. Gabby's next adventure will see her going up against a cat-obsessed lady, who suddenly steals her dollhouse. Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie is directed by Ryan Crego (Arlo the Alligator Boy), based on creators Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey's mixed media preschool series. The ensemble cast also includes Gloria Estefan, Ego Nwodim, Kyle Mooney, Melissa Villaseñor, Thomas Lennon, Jason Mantzoukas, and Fortune Feimster. Besides Kraner, the rest of the beloved series' voice cast will also be reprising their roles as Pandy Paws, CatRat, Cakey, DJ Catnip, Baby Box, MerCat and more. Created by Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey, 'Gabby's Dollhouse' is a mixed media preschool series that unboxes a surprise before jumping into a fantastical animated world full of adorable cat characters that live inside Gabby's dollhouse. In the new film, Gabby (Laila Lockhart Kraner, reprising her role from the series) heads out on a road trip with her Grandma Gigi to the urban wonderland of Cat Francisco.
