Newport News Sheriff's Office set to host annual Shred Day
NEWPORT NEWS, Va.(WAVY)– The Newport News Sheriff's Office is gearing up for their annual Shred Day.
The drive-thru event it set to take place on Saturday, May 31, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Todd Stadium. Sheriff Gabriel 'Gabe' Morgan covers the cost of the three-hour drive-through service for the public to bring their personal papers for secure on-site shredding.
This is NNSO's way of helping citizens fight identity theft.
