Graham Norton lists lavish NYC home for €4.94m — his second property for sale this month
Graham Norton has put yet another one of his multi-million euro properties on the market, so it's time for a nosey! The beloved talk show host this week put his swanky New York pad up for sale, with the home hitting the market at a cool $5.595million (€4.94million). Located at 6 Sniffen Court in Murray Hill, Norton nabbed the 2,223sq foot property back in 2002. Pic: The Corcoran Group The home was reportedly built in the 1860s as a carriage house and stable and has housed many an A-list celeb, such as Claudia Schiffer and Lenny Kravitz. It marked Norton's first jaunt into the US housing market, with the star already owning homes in Ireland, the UK and formerly South Africa. Previously chatting about the purchase in a 2017 New York Times interview, he said: 'I was doing my talk show five nights a week, and all this money was rolling in. I went a little crazy and bought this house that I neither need nor use a lot.' Pic: The Corcoran Group The newly listed home underwent an extensive restoration by Gachot Studio and boasts two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Originally one of just 10 properties built during the American Civil War, the illustrious listing has proved big with buyers. Brimming with light, the homes grand main room boasts 15ft ceilings, and a beautiful double-wide window alongside a lilac stone fireplace that perfectly encapsulates the cozy vibe. Moving on to the third level, the spacious primary bedroom suite features a separate sitting room and home office with even more magnificent windows. Also on this level you'll find a primary marble bathroom with a bath and stall shower along with a kitchenette/morning bar. Inside Graham Norton's incredible £6million New York townhouse he bought from huge supermodel as Brit star sells up
GRAHAM Norton is selling his impressive New York townhouse that he bought from a huge supermodel in the early noughties. The famous chat show host, 62, has put his quaint Manhattan home on the market for £6million. 9 9 9 9 9 9 The impressive property, which is nestled in a small gated community, is three storeys high and has it's own rooftop garden. Graham bought the home in 2002 from Claudia Schiffer, but has decided to sell up. The home - which is around 2,500 square feet - has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The property also boasts hardwood floors and restored crown moldings and baseboards. The cosy home also includes a log burner, a library and a bar. The kitchen - which is painted green - comes complete with stainless-steel countertops and a breakfast bar. The main bedroom can be found on the top floor and has it's own ensuite and kitchenette. Graham recently renovated and restored the home with the help of Gachot Studio. The upgrades to the property include central air conditioning, window treatments and custom lighting. Graham told the New York Times he bought the house in Murray Hill because he "couldn't stop thinking about it", adding, "I finally caved in and flew over to see it.' However, he lived in it full time in 2004 when he hosted the NY Graham Norton talk show. The home is part of the Sniffen Court Historic District which can be found just off East 36th Street near Third Avenue. The incredible house is one of 10 brick carriage houses, which were formerly horse stables, and were built between 1863 and 1864. 9 9 9
