Salman Khan's fan from Chhattisgarh detained for trying to enter actor's Bandra house to meet him
The Mumbai police on Tuesday detained a 23-year-old youth from Chhattisgarh for allegedly trying to enter the high-security Bandra house of Salman Khan to meet the actor. However, the security personnel outside the actor's house foiled the fan's plan and nabbed him when he entered the Galaxy apartment compound. Bandra police booked him on charges of trespassing. The accused person has been identified as Jitendra Kumar Hridaylal Singh, from Durg, Chhattisgarh. On interrogation, the man said he wanted to meet Salman Khan, who has a Y+ category security, and tried to sneak into the building due to police restrictions, the First Information Report (FIR) stated. As per the FIR, Bandra police constable Sandeep Rangari, 37, who was posted on security duty at Galaxy Apartments, spotted a man (Singh) loitering around the actor's building on Tuesday morning. Rangari confronted the man and asked him to leave, which infuriated the man, who, in anger, banged his mobile phone against the ground and broke it, the FIR said. Later, around 7.15 pm, Singh visited the Galaxy Apartment building again and hid behind a car to avoid being spotted. The man was noticed by the police only when he managed to enter Salman Khan's building compound, leading to his detention, and was soon taken to the Bandra police station. Earlier, there have been instances when the Bollywood superstar's fans illegally tried to enter his house. Salman Khan's house already has high security cover after members of the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had opened fire at his residence on April 14, 2024.
