Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: Every new product announced
Samsung, on Wednesday, July 9, unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7, its newest foldable smartphones. In addition to these yearly launches, the company also announced the Galaxy Z Flip FE, the much-anticipated Fan Edition device that has been underway for quite some time now. And as is the case every year, the South Korean tech giant also launched the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. From smartwatches to smartwatches, here's everything Samsung announced at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025. Samsung's latest book-style foldable phone – the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is getting a bunch of design and hardware upgrades, which the company says is its first foldable phone that offers an 'Ultra' experience. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, the Galaxy Z Fold7 brings significant performance upgrades over its predecessor. When folded, you get a 6.5-inch 120Hz AMOLED cover screen with FullHD+ resolution alongside a much larger 8.2-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen on the inside that offers more real estate. Just like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition, you get a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 200MP primary camera in addition to a 12MP ultrawide shooter and a 10MP telephoto lens. The phone comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage and is backed by a 4,400mAh battery that supports 25 wired charging as well as wireless charging. It comes with One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 also brings some durability improvements to the overall body as well as the hinge. While the cover screen is now protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, the back now boasts Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, while the frame is made from what Samsung calls 'Advanced Armor Aluminum'. The Galaxy Flip 7 is also bringing some upgrades to the table. The new phone has a slightly bigger 6.9-inch 120 AMOLED inner screen and a much larger 4.1-inch sAMOLED cover screen that offers a refresh rate up to 120Hz. However, like its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 comes with the same dual camera setup, which consists of a 50MP primary shooter alongside a 12MP ultrawide lens. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 comes with 12GB of RAM, with the base variant now offering 256GB of storage, with options going up to 512GB. Compared to its predecessor, the storage on the base variant is now double. Samsung has also packed in a slightly larger 4,300mAh battery that supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging, which should help the device last a bit longer. Another area where the Galaxy Z Flip 7 improves over its predecessor is durability. Samsung's latest flip phone is now IP48 dust and water resistant and comes with an Armour Aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, you get One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box. Samsung also introduced the much-anticipated Galaxy Z Flip FE. The latest Fan Edition device comes with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with FullHD+ resolution and a 3.4-inch sAMOLED cover screen with a resolution of 720×748 pixels. It runs on One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box and sports Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Armour Aluminium protection. Like the Galaxy Z Flip 7, you get a 50MP primary rear camera in addition to a 12MP ultrawide sensor. The phone is powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, which made its debut last year on the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24 Plus. The phone comes with 8GB RAM and is available in two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB. All of this is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. The Galaxy Watch 8 series comprises two devices – the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. This year, Samsung has spiced up the design, with the new smartwatches now sporting a squircle-shaped frame housing the circular display. Talking of design, Samsung is also bringing a new extra circular button that is sandwiched between the regular home and back buttons. The Galaxy Watch 8 is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes and comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. If you are interested in the Classic variant with the physical rotating bezel, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is only available in a 46mm size. And while it has the same 2GB RAM as the Galaxy Watch 8, you get 64GB of storage. The South Korean tech giant is also adding a bunch of new features like the ability to check Vascular Load, Antioxidant Index and more. The Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic comes with One UI 8 based on WearOS 6 out of the box and also support Gemini.

Good news for US buyers: Galaxy Z Flip FE tipped for global launch
Ryan Haines / Android Authority TL;DR A new leak suggests the Galaxy Z Flip FE will launch globally, not just in select regions. X user PandaFlash claims the device will debut alongside the Fold 7 and Flip 7 next month and will be widely available. The phone is expected to reuse the Flip 6's design and include the Exynos 2400 chipset. While most of the attention has been on the direct successors to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, we just got a clue as to how widely Samsung's cheaper Fan Edition foldable might launch. Addressing one of the biggest questions hanging over the device, a tipster has suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will be globally available. A post on X from PandaFlash (@PandaFlashPro) states, 'So 100% it's confirmed' that the Galaxy Z Flip FE will launch alongside the Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 next month. They go on to advise that the device will have global availability, contradicting any lingering suggestions that it may only come to select regions. PandaFlash doesn't cite a source, and Samsung hasn't officially announced the Flip FE, so all of this remains in the rumor mill. However, the phone has appeared in regulatory filings and has had multiple leaks, suggesting it will reuse the design and display from the Galaxy Z Flip 6. In a reply to one response on the X post, the tipster also said the Z Flip FE would feature the Exynos 2400 chip. There had been speculation that the Fan Edition foldable would sport the Exynos 2500, but more recent leaks have aligned with today's tip. Got a tip? Talk to us! Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Design And Colors Revealed In New Leak
The next phones from Samsung are expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, joined perhaps by a more affordable model, likely called the Galaxy Z Flip FE (where FE stands for fan edition). A new leak shows what the Flip7 and Flip FE are going to look like, including what colors they will sport. In 2024 it was the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic edition. What will this year's flip phone be like? Regular leaker Evan Blass, who has a strong and solid track record in his leaks, has released renders of the new flip phones, showing their colors and more. In the renders, picked up by SamMobile, there are indications that the Galaxy Z Flip7 will have an updated design, for example with a full external cover screen on the folded phone, instead of the design on the current Z Flip6. The bezels that surround the display also look much slimmer on the new renders than they are on the Z Flip6. And then there's the colors. The Z Flip7, if these leaks are correct, will come in three colors. Blue and black are familiar to Samsung users, but the third, it's claimed, will be coral red. The renders show this to be an eye-catching, sultry shade that will be hard to miss — and ideal if you're the sort of person who finds it easy to leave your phone behind because it's lying on a black seat on an airplane, for instance. You'll spot the coral red one easily. It's hard to know exactly how accurate the renders are in terms of color, but if accurate, this will be an exotic, refreshing shade. The renders also show the new phone as being extremely thin, especially when compared to the forthcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE. The FE not only looks thicker, but has a smaller external display, similar to earlier Z Flip phones — though it still makes up a significant part of the phone's form factor. This will be the first-ever fan edition foldable, so it's hard to know exactly what to make of it from images alone: the most important specification may turn out to be the price, specifically, how much cheaper it is than the regular edition.
