Galway drive-thru coffee shop approved for new outlet on busy N83
An application submitted by Galway-owned coffee company Jack and Harry Coffee Ltd for a new takeaway drive thru container to be built along the N83 has been approved. Galway County Council granted permission for the planning application, which was submitted on April 17. The development will include a takeaway and drive-thru container as documents showed how the layout would look. Permission was sought for the container to have access from the existing entrance onto the N83, associated signage and all associated site works and services. Planning documents show the development will involve the removal of an existing metal fence and be located by an existing car park in the area. The gross floor space of the proposed works is 26sqm. The decision from Galway County Council on the plans was made on August 12 with six conditions attached.
