One of the biggest events of the week – the Pride Parade – will take place on Saturday week at midday, starting out from City Hall on College Road.
The organisers of this years festival are also encouraging everyone to get involved to help make this year's Galway Community Pride bigger and better than ever.
The theme of this years Pride festival is – Rise, Resist, Rejoice, and the organisers say, in an era marked by global uncertainty and rising tensions for LGBTQ+ communities, Galway Community Pride calls on everyone to come together in solidarity, love, and celebration.
This year's festival is all about uplifting one another, and honouring those who inspire us.
