Two Lotto wins for Galway in 24 hours as exact location revealed
It's been two wins in two days for Galway Lotto players, as a punter scooped up a massive €250,000. Just one day after a player in Breathnach's Eurospar in An Ceathrú Rua won a life changing EuroMillions prize of €625,081 — just months after the same shop won a €7million jackpot — it was Galway City's turn to celebrate, as the Circle K filling station in Newcastle is now the shop that sold a winning Lotto Plus 2 ticket. The ticket, which was purchased on Sunday, July 13, had the winning plus numbers of 3, 11, 12, 19, 26, 37 and the bonus was 46. National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said. 'For the second time this week, a player has scooped a fantastic prize, taking home a life-enhancing windfall of €250,000. We're now urging all of our players to check their tickets carefully – you could be holding a winning ticket!' The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe, and should then make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@ and arrangements will be made for them to collect their life-changing prize in Lottery HQ. Earlier this week, the Eurospar in Carraroe, Co Galway won the dazzling windfall of €625,081 in Tuesday's EuroMillions draw, which comes after selling a mammoth €7million last November, while a second Irish player won a €14,609 prize after purchasing a Quick Pick ticket at Dunnes Dundalk, Ard Easmuinn, Dundalk Co Louth.
