Telangana, like Hiroshima symbolises hope: CM Revanth Reddy
HYDERABAD: An official delegation led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with Hiroshima Prefectural Assembly Speaker Takashi Nakamoto and a team of legislators to discuss cooperation. Addressing the gathering, the chief minister said, 'It is an honour to come to Hiroshima. Your city symbolises hope and collective will. Like Hiroshima, Telangana too is all about struggle, hope and achievement through hard work, vision and responsibility.' Sridhar Babu emphasised shared values between the two regions. 'Hiroshima stands for peace, sustainability, and prosperity. Telangana shares these ideals. I'm not here just for investments, but for a meaningful partnership, to build a greener, inclusive world together,' he said. Highlighting that over 50 Japanese companies already operate successfully in Telangana, he invited more businesses to explore opportunities in clean energy, electric mobility, precision manufacturing and green hydrogen. 'Telangana can be your gateway to India — and a platform for global growth,' he said. The Hiroshima legislators later escorted the delegation to a business roundtable, followed by visits to the Gandhi Memorial, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. The Telangana delegation included senior officials Jayesh Ranjan, V Sheshadri, Ajith Reddy, Vishnu Vardhan Reddy and others. The group was given a ceremonial tour of the Assembly before the talks.

CM calls for partnership with Hiroshima govt. to create a better, greener and more inclusive world
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has called for partnership with the government of Hiroshima Prefecture to help create a better, greener and more inclusive world. Aside from his usual meetings with industrial conglomerates inviting investments into Telangana, the Chief Minister said: 'I am not here to talk about investments, but partnership. A partnership to help create a better, greener, and more inclusive world.' The TelanganaRising delegation led by the Chief Minister paid a ceremonial visit to Hiroshima Prefectural assembly where Speaker Takashi Nakamoto and team of legislators received them. The two sides held wide-ranging talks on cooperation, collaboration and propagating shared values of commitment to peace, sustainability and prosperity. The Legislators escorted the delegation for business chamber roundtable and followed by a visit to Gandhi Memorial, Hiroshima Memorial Park, and the Atomic Bombing Dome. As a special mark of honour, Mr. Nakamoto took the Chief Minister and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu to his chair. Mr. Revanth Reddy said Hiroshima was a symbol of what was possible when people decided to do something together. Like Hiroshima, Telangana too was all about struggle, hope and achievement through hard work, vision and responsibility. 'We both share several values,' he said. Mr. Sridhar Babu said more than 50 Japanese firms were working wonders in Telangana and the State was ready to welcome many more. There were great opportunities in clean energy, electric mobility, precision manufacturing and green Hydrogen. Mr. Sridhar Babu invited the Hiroshima government officials and business leaders to visit Telangana for seeing first hand what the State was doing. Telangana could be the gateway for Japanese firms to India and platform for their global growth. 'Together, let us build a resilient bridge between Hiroshima and Hyderabad — between Japan and Telangana,' he added.
