AHL
stints
Originally selected in the seventh round of the 2008 NHL Draft by the Los Angeles Kings, Roe never suited up in the NHL but made a significant impact at the AHL level and across top European leagues. In North America, he suited up for both the Hershey Bears and Adirondack Phantoms, but it was in Europe where he truly carved out a name for himself.
Roe spent the majority of his professional career overseas, playing in Austria, Germany, Sweden, and Switzerland. Whether it was in the DEL, SHL, or National League, Roe was known as a versatile forward, capable of playing in all situations—power play, penalty kill, or late-game faceoffs.
Throughout his career, Roe established himself as a reliable two-way forward with excellent playmaking skills. Coaches and teammates consistently praised his work ethic, on-ice awareness, and ability to raise his game in big moments.
