Stranger Things fans baffled as Netflix release errie series five audio teaser

The latest series of Stranger Things is due to be released soon, but bosses haven't given away too much of what it could entail, and the new trailer has left fans baffled Netflix has released an eerie Stranger Things season 5 audio teaser which has baffled fans. The 30-second clip has left viewers scratching their heads as failed to give anything away as to what they might expect from the upcoming series. The short video has been released ahead of the Netflix TUDUM event which takes place today, Saturday May 31. The event is due to be located in Los Angeles and is an annual event which covers Netflix's biggest original works. ‌ Fans were surprised when the shock clip was sent on the Stranger Things Instagram broadcast channel without any warning. The clip is unclear but seems to feature several overlapping sounds, including banging and radio static waves. ‌ It also includes someone's voice, but it is hard to make out before the note "can't transcribe message" pops up. Since the clip was released, fans have been speculating as to what it could mean. One said: "You know it's bad when they got me hyped over an audio," as a second wrote: "Maybe it could be at the military base, the monsters are breaking thru the plates that's sealing the rift [sic]." While another fan simply said: "It's teasing something big." ‌ The next and final series of Stranger Things is due to be released at some point this year, with many fans hoping that a new trailer is released today at the TUDUM panel. It's been said that viewers can expect film-length episodes in the latest series as it concludes the fan favourite show. Stranger Things first graced our screens back in July 2016 and became a huge success ever since. Running for the last 10 years, the show will be back for its fifth season. ‌ Well-known faces Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Jamie Campbell Bower will all be back for the last series. An official release date for the next series is yet to be revealed. Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson, has since opened up about what he would like to do career-wise after the show comes to an end. He told Radio Times: "I think a lot of weird, deeper character work would be really, really fun. My inspo for sure is Andy Serkis and everything he does. "He is one of the most talented, most expressive, most innovative performers that's alive right now, that's known for becoming not human several times, which seems like it would be absolutely terrifying, but so much fun. I just want to keep doing things that I'm bad at because I always like to challenge myself."

Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard debuts dramatic transformation... see what he looks like now

Finn Wolfhard debuted a dramatic hair transformation while attending the ninth annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards, which was held at Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan on Sunday. The 22-year-old former child star paired his freshly-shaved buzzcut with a black deconstructed suit, white button-up shirt, and boots selected by stylist Warren Alfie Baker. Finn does not have any upcoming TV/film projects on the horizon, so perhaps he was simply following in the footsteps of Brad Pitt who unveiled his own buzzcut in LA last Thursday. Wolfhard was last pictured with his signature, seventies-style shag while attending a baseball game at Toronto's Rogers Centre in his native Canada on May 3. The Objection rocker was joined on the orange carpet by his Stranger Things co-star Gaten Matarazzo, and the pair later presented the best continuing series trophy to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The 22-year-old Lego Star Wars actor was wearing a black blazer over a grey button-up shirt, black pleated shorts, and matching loafers selected by stylist Meg Galvin. On December 20, the SAG Award-winning pair wrapped their respective roles as D&D enthusiasts Dustin Henderson and Mike Wheeler in the eight-episode fifth (and final) season of their 1987-set Netflix show. 'It deepened all of our relationships, going through the ending of the show — and then being able to come out the other side and still be friends,' Finn explained in his Cosmpolitan cover story this month. 'It feels all the more important. There used to be this expectation from all of us that if we didn't talk to each other between seasons, it didn't really matter. 'It's kind of like school in that way where it's just like, "I'll see you when I see you." Then last year, we were like, "Oh, this is it. We're not going to just see each other just because."' Wolfhard - who was 12 when he was cast in 2015 - marveled: 'We were like, "Dude, can you believe that one day when the show comes out, the last season, we're all going to be able to drink together at the bar?"' The critically-acclaimed binge-watching favorite will feature Terminator alum Linda Hamilton guest-starring as a mystery military character in Stranger Things' final chapter. At the end of season four, the Hawkins group watched aghast as 'destroyed' Vecna opened the gates between the real world and the Upside Down causing what local officials labeled 'an earthquake.' 'In a lot of ways, obviously, I want to move on. That's why I'm doing all this stuff and I'm directing. I obviously have aspirations outside of the show that I really want to do. And for me, it's more about the connections with people, less about the show.' Finn - who averages 237K monthly listeners on Spotify - is scheduled to kick off his seven-date The Objection! Tour on June 5 at the Lodge Room in LA. Wolfhard - who still lives with his parents in Vancouver - sings and play the guitar, piano, drums, bass, and harmonica Gaten will also voice Lucky in Andy Serkis' upcoming animated remake of Animal Farm alongside Seth Rogen, Woody Harrelson, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Jim Parsons, Steve Buscemi, Kathleen Turner, and Laverne Cox.

Wolfhard and Matarazzo's appearance in Tokyo comes before the fifth and final season of Stranger Things hits Netflix sometime this year. Wolfhard has appeared on the series as Mike Wheeler since the show premiered in July 2016. As he explained to PEOPLE in April, completing filming "was definitely a lot." He and Matarazzo star in the sci-fi hit alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery and Maya Hawke. "I was so happy with my character's ending," Wolfhard said. "I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy." "I felt like I was in a dream or something. None of it felt real. I don't know, it felt perfect," he added of the final season. Wolfhard explained at the time that he "couldn't believe it at all" when filming the last scene for Stranger Things' final season, sharing that it "didn't really start to go into focus until the next day." "It was like an emotional hangover," he said. "But it ended really well, and I just have such positive things to say about everyone." Wolfhard added: "The cast all stayed for the last day, we were all there together. It was really great to be around each other." Aside from hair transformations and the forthcoming closing chapter of the series that put him on the map, he recently released his directorial debut, Hell of a Summer, and is set to share his debut solo music project, Happy Birthday, in June. As for buzz cuts, he isn't the only star opting to ditch longer hair for the summertime, either. Brad Pitt was also photographed this week in Los Angeles sporting a clean buzz cut, reminiscent of the shaved-head look he rocked in the early aughts. Austin Butler was also snapped with a fresh buzz cut in December. Read the original article on People
