Calry St Joseph's made a real statement of intent about getting back into the senior ranks with a hard fought victory over Geevagh in their opening contest of the 2025 Connacht Gold intermediate championship. After a challenging league campaign that saw them suffer a second successive relegation the Hazelwood men, will have a spring their step after getting those early points on the board.
In the same group, Enniscrone made their Division One league experience count to fashion a six point victory over neighbours St Farnan's but the Dromore West Saints will feel that they had the chances and will be very competitive in their three remaining games.
