Nadeera on Hael Husaini: He is like an older brother to me

3 Apr - Nadeera couldn't help but laughed off the notion of romance with Hael Husaini, despite having worked with the singer-songwriter multiple times already. The singer, who seemed to be Hael's new muse, what with him writing her hit song "Bukan Lagi Kita" and recording an Eid duet with her, "Meriah Lain Macam", stated that she regarded Hael as nothing more than a big brother that she respected very much. "The first time I worked with him, I didn't expect him to be such a kindhearted and humble person. I gained a lot from our collaboration. He is such a kind brother to me," she said to mStar when asked about it. Nadeera also admitted that she is truly indebted to Hael, who would share a lot of tips and tricks in the industry. "You can say that he is a fun type of brother. He taught me things about vocals, about songwriting and many more. He is not one to be stingy about his knowledge. Only those who know him will know how kind Hael is," she added. In addition to the two songs, Hael and Nadeera also previously collaborated in recording the Gempak Most Wanted Awards theme song. Ryan Bakery wants content creators to be more mindful of their manners

26 Feb - Ryan Bakery is calling for all social media influencers to mind their manners no matter how popular they are now in the eyes of their fans. The content creator, who recently won Top Digital Creator at the Gempak Most Wanted Awards, said that influencers who think they are untouchable are those who do not know their place. "We need to realise that what we have now is because people like our content. Once they decide not to follow us, we will lose everything," he said. Ryan also said that creators should always mind their content so not to hurt people as not everybody has the same sense of humour. "As a young person, we might not understand how our seniors feel. Let's not further exacerbate the situation. I was blasted before due to similar incident. I just apologised and said that it was not my intention. I learned my lesson," he added. Content creator Imran Bard recently found himself in hot water after sparking the wrath of actress Ellie Suriaty for using her name in a TikTok skit. While he apologised for the mistake, it only sparked more backlash among other celebrities as he decided to address Ellie as "mak cik" (aunty) instead of "puan" (madam) in his apology. Krisya happy to be back for "Keluang Man" theme song

25 Feb - Krisya is happy to be making her comeback after so many years by performing on stage at the recently concluded Gempak Most Wanted Awards. The 42-year-old singer surprised many by appearing on stage alongside the band Sekumpulan Orang Gila (SOG) to perform the theme song of "Keluang Man", which she also originally sang for the '90s animated series in 1998. "I have quit singing for more than 20 years. Astro themselves admitted that it was hard to get me back," she said, adding that she decided to retire to focus on her family and four kids. Krisya also revealed that she had just returned to Malaysia after living in Bosnia for the past seven years. "It seems destined by God. As soon as I come home to Malaysia, I was offered to rerecord the theme song for Keluang Man. The original song made a big impact on my career, and now I am back because of it as well," she added. Meanwhile, the live-action "Keluang Man" movie will be released in May. (Photo Source: Krisya IG)
