The Young and the Restless spoilers: Lily targets Cane, Victor steps in — but did someone else plan Damian's murder
Damian (Jermaine Rivers) has been found dead, and The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 17, suggest the hunt for his killer is heating up. While Chance (Conner Floyd) focuses on the facts, Lily (Christel Khalil) believes she's found a clue—and it leads her straight to Cane (Billy Flynn). Given Lily's current feelings about Cane, she seems ready to blame him for anything, from historical crimes to personal betrayals. But her suspicion this time is serious—she believes Cane could be tied to Damian's murder. Did he do it himself, or could he have hired someone? What makes Lily so sure? We already saw Cane at the scene, but not committing the act. Could he have orchestrated it instead—setting Damian up, drugging him, and handing him over to the actual attacker? Victor moves fast and for his own reasons As soon as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hears the news about Damian, his focus shifts. Not to grief or justice—but to family, power, and control. He's quick to think about how to shield the Newman name, and just as quick to consider how he might benefit from the chaos. If Cane ends up behind bars, assets and companies are suddenly up for grabs. Victor expects Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy (Jason Thompson) to swoop in, and he wants to beat them to it. Under the guise of protecting Lily and her children, Victor may try to take over Cane's holdings. Of course, he'll present it as a favor. But if anyone dares suggest a Newman had anything to do with Damian's death, Victor's patience will snap. Expect him to come down hard—especially on Chance. A murder, a motive, and a mystery While Lily digs into what she believes is evidence and Victor schemes for power, the real question remains: who actually killed Damian? Cane looks suspicious, but could there be someone else lurking in the background? And what if this murder is just one part of a bigger game? Lily suspects Cane, Victor plays protector, but the truth behind Damian's death might surprise everyone watching Genoa City closely.

Young and the Restless Spoilers July 17: Will Lily Turn Over Cane to Chance?
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 17, dive into the Who Killed Damian mystery. Lily thinks she has evidence that points to Cane and that Chance should know about it. Next on The Young and the Restless Damian (Jermaine Rivers) is dead. We are confused about why and what was the point, but Chance (Conner Floyd) is only interested in who… dunnit. Everyone has their theories. But Lily (Christel Khalil) actually thinks she has evidence. Which points to Cane (Billy Flynn). Now, considering how Lily feels about Cane in general at the moment, she's ready to accuse him of anything. Being the Zodiac Killer. Kidnapping the Lindbergh Baby. Being so vain that Carly Simon wrote a song about it…. But is he really the one who stabbed Damian? We know he didn't. Because we saw that he was there when the black-clad assailant aimed and threw. So what evidence could Lily possibly have? Unless, of course, Cane hired the killer… and was the one responsible for delivering Damian to the time and place, not to mention drugging him so he wouldn't be able to get away. MORE: Is Cane behind Damian's death? Circle the Wagons As soon as Victor (Eric Braeden) heard about Damian's death, he had only one thought: How to protect his family? And how to take advantage of the subsequent turmoil. (Yes, that's technically two thoughts, but, for Victor, they always come together.) If Damian is dead and Cane is arrested, think of all the lovely money and companies newly up for grabs? Victor just knows that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will do something insensitive and underhanded, like try to claim them for themselves. They won't give poor Lily and her children another thought! WATCH NOW: Watch Soap Hub's podcast now! Good thing Victor isn't like that. He'll protect Lily by instantly taking over all of Cane's properties, so Lily doesn't need to worry her pretty little head about it. Oh, and if anyone suggests anyone in the Newman family might have been involved, well, prepare for Victor to get indignant. How dare you, Chance? HOW DARE YOU? Think you've cracked the next twist? What Happened on Young and the Restless Today? Nick Shocking Discovery
The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, July 15, featured escalating tensions and shocking revelations as Cane, Phyllis, Nick, and others dealt with a potential murder in the club car. As suspicions rose, so did the doubts about Cane's involvement in the crime. What Happened on Y&R? Cane's (Billy Flynn) guests gathered in the club car to discuss the unsettling situation. Nick (Joshua Morrow) couldn't help but wonder if Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) knew what had happened, given her proximity to the scene. Amanda (Mishael Morgan) wanted to speak with her client, but Cane insisted he had nothing to hide. Meanwhile, Lily (Christel Khalil) grew increasingly eager for answers, while Chance (Conner Floyd) warned that the investigation would be unconventional, given that he had no authority there. Cane denied any wrongdoing, but the group was unsettled. Nick pointed out that not everyone was present, and Chance explained that the authorities wouldn't be arriving for hours. While Lily was shocked to learn that Damian (Jermaine Rivers) had been murdered, the conversation shifted to whether Cane might have had a motive. Devon (Bryton James) expressed concern about being considered a suspect, but Cane assured them he had no suspicion of anyone in particular. MORE: Find out what happens next on Y&R. Chance's Investigation and Phyllis' Account Chance began questioning everyone individually, starting with Phyllis. She admitted she'd been lost in the maze with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) before they split up. Phyllis gave Chance a detailed account of what she had witnessed. She described Cane lowering Damian's body to the ground but insisted that neither of them had touched the weapon. Chance pressed Phyllis for more information, even suggesting that she might be covering for Cane to secure a job. Phyllis firmly denied any involvement in the cover-up. Meanwhile, Nick spoke with Sharon (Sharon Case) about the crime, explaining that Damian had been stabbed with an antique dagger. Sharon was shocked by the news and by the fact that Phyllis had witnessed the aftermath. Nick couldn't shake the feeling that Cane might try to blame someone, particularly Victor (Eric Braeden), for the attack. Sharon, concerned about Phyllis, worried about how this would affect her moving forward. Cane and Amanda's Tense Conversation In the dining area, Cane and Amanda had a tense conversation. Amanda urged Cane to be honest about the events, reminding him that the facts weren't looking good. Cane maintained that there was no evidence linking him to the murder, but Amanda pointed out that he was the only one who had been with Damian when he died. Cane tried to justify his actions, reminding Amanda that the dagger was intended for him, and he had been drugged, just like Damian. Amanda was not convinced, listing facts that seemed to point directly at Cane. She also called out his refusal to contact the authorities, insisting that they had the jurisdiction to investigate. WATCH NOW: Soap fans, don't miss this Soap Hub Says podcast! Lily's Struggle with Damian's Death Lily, emotionally shaken by Damian's death, found herself questioning everything. As Abby (Melissa Ordway) offered comfort, Lily couldn't help but wonder if she was somehow to blame for Damian's death. She wrestled with the idea that Cane might have been the one to kill him, even though she still couldn't believe he would go so far. Devon reminded Lily that they knew little about Damian and suggested that his ties to Cane might be more complicated than they realized. A Dagger In a shocking twist, Nick returned to the club car, holding the missing dagger in a bag. He told Chance and Phyllis that he found it in the bathroom of his car, claiming, 'Someone is setting me up!' Got a wild soap prediction? Cole's Tragic Death Was the Absolute Best Thing for Victoria on Young and the Restless
Happily ever after rarely plays out well on soaps. Once a couple unites and settles into domestic bliss, they face the dreaded doldrums. Their days of fun, front-burner action slowly disappear. That's why Cole's tragic death was the absolute best thing for Victoria on The Young and the Restless. Pre-Cole (J. Eddie Peck), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was vibrant, spirited, and spunky. She was a shark in the boardroom, and a sexpot in the bedroom. Remember her sizzling affair with Nate (Sean Dominic)? Her cutthroat tactics to pull off a corporate coup? Victoria was a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with in every area of her life; the daughter who made the great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) proud. READ THIS: We can't stop watching these Y&R pets. But after getting back together with Cole (J. Eddie Peck), all of the above fell by the wayside. While the Victoria and Cole reunion was sweet and made good use of history–the pair discovered the daughter they believed had died was alive, reconciled after decades apart, and ultimately began planning a new life together–once their happiness materialized, there was nothing for them to do. Victoria, once a prominent player in Genoa City, was suddenly stagnant. She became nothing more than a sounding board for Claire (Hayley Erin), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and the rest of the Newman family. She lost her edge and vivacity and was sadly transformed into a shell of her former self. WATCH THIS: Check out the Soap Hub Says Podcast! Actress Amelia Heinle, who's played the fiery Victoria since 2005, deserved better. She's a consummate actress. She's won two Daytime Emmy awards, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2014 and 2015, and has proven herself as a premier leading lady. Let's not forget that her onscreen pairing with the late Billy Miller (ex-Billy) produced one of the show's most popular and engaging couples ever. Now that Victoria is finally free of Cole, and after she goes through the normal mourning period, she'll have the chance to regroup and move forward. Perhaps the writers will toss her back into the business world full throttle, now that Victor has his hands full warding off Cane (Billy Flynn), who's plotting to acquire Newman Enterprises, Chancellor Industries, and Jabot. Teaming Victoria with her father and Adam (Mark Grossman) would create a formidable three-headed monster to go toe-to-toe with Cane. Once Victoria gets her business groove back, then the show can steer her into a new romance. She has plenty of old lovers to choose from, like Nate and Billy (Jason Thompson), or she could move forward in a totally different direction with someone new.

Young and the Restless Spoilers July 14: Can Amanda Save Phyllis…and the Rest?
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, July 14, make viewers wonder how the good people of Genoa City ever survived without Amanda there to keep them from doing stupid things. Amanda (Mishael Morgan) rightfully left Genoa City when she realized everyone who lived there wasn't worth her time. We're not sure if Cane (Billy Flynn) is, either, but at least he respects her intelligence. He put her in charge of watching his kidnap victims. (Yes, we said it. What else do you call it when you have people trapped on your property and are not letting them leave? No matter how nice the accommodations, they're still being held against their will.) And Amanda is doing her best to keep everything under control. While she continues making deals. READ THIS: How Cole's dying is good for Victoria. Amanda's best friend in France is Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Ironically, she's the one Amanda can control the least. Phyllis is determined to make Cane take over Chancellor Industries and install her to run it. And there is nothing Amanda can do about it. Which is why Phyllis keeps doing dumb things. And why is she now in danger? Cane thinks someone is about to try and kill him. Will Phyllis helpfully get there first? Got a wild soap prediction? Email amber@ and you could spark our next buzz-worthy discussion. Cane is a billionaire now. Everybody wants his attention, including power players like Victor (Eric Braeden) and (he thinks he is one) Billy (Jason Thompson). You'd think he has his hands full. But not without Lily (Christel Khalil) in his arms. Cane wants his wife back. Which is why the existence of Damian (Jermaine Rivers) annoys him. Cane demands that Damian spill his intentions with Lily. We hope Damian laughs really loudly in Cane's face. And that Lily follows suit. Even if she doesn't want Damian, she doesn't owe Cane ANY explanations. WATCH NOW: Watch SoapHub's podcast now!
