Powys man denies Jaguar F-Pace drive while on cocaine
A Powys man will stand trial accused of driving while under the influence of cocaine.
Jonathan Howard, 47, pleaded not guilty to driving a Jaguar F-Pace while four times over the legal limit for the Class A drug when he appeared at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, July 1.
The prosecution claims that a test found that there was more than 240 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine in every litre of the defendant's blood. The legal limit is 50mcgms.

Geraint Parry, solicitor, asked the magistrates to adjourn the case for up to six weeks while an expert analyses the blood sample taken on the day of Howard's arrest.
A two-hour trial was fixed to take place at Welshpool Magistrates' Court on September 3.
