Bangkit Sabahan 2.0 rally rescheduled for smoother coordination
Published on: Friday, July 25, 2025 Published on: Fri, Jul 25, 2025 Text Size: Kota Kinabalu: The Bangkit Sabahan 2.0 rally, originally scheduled for Saturday (July 26) at Padang Merdeka here has been postponed to a later date. According to G57 chairman cum Gerakan Bangkit Sabahan advisor Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar ( pic ), the decision was made due to technical and logistical considerations, allowing for further coordination with NGOs, activists, and security agencies. A new date is expected to be announced in early August following final discussions with all relevant stakeholders. The rally is intended as a show of solidarity with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and the GRS-PH government in their ongoing efforts to uphold Sabah's rights and political stability. 'Sabah 4 Sabahan' peaceful assembly in June
Published on: Sunday, May 18, 2025 Published on: Sun, May 18, 2025 Text Size: KOTA KINABALU: Gerakan Bangkit Sabahan will organise a two-day peaceful assembly themed 'Sabah 4 Sabahan' on June 21 and 22, 2025, here. Its Chief Adviser, Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar, said the exact location of the gathering will be revealed during a press conference scheduled for early June. Advertisement 'The assembly is expected to draw around 15,000 participants and will feature prominent Sabah political figures as keynote speakers,' he said in a statement today. He added that invitations will also be extended to Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) leaders and several Sarawakian activists to deliver speeches during the event. The assembly aims to show solidarity with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor in defending Sabah's rights and sovereignty ahead of the upcoming 17th State Election (PRN-17).
