Festive mood at Gergaoon
Gergaoon celebrations at the Bahrain Mobility International Centre brought together children, families, and volunteers for a festive evening. MP Jalila Al Sayyed attended alongside representatives from various associations. The night featured lively competitions for both children and adults. Building on last year's success, this growing tradition warmly welcomed the children of the Bahrain Down Syndrome Society once again, together with the support of Juniors Club Bahrain, a group of dedicated mothers from the Juffair community. The Dome transformed into a haven of pure delight, where laughter and radiant smiles illuminated the space. Gergaoon celebration
The spirit of Ramadan was brought to life at Alia Autism Centre as children, families, and dignitaries came together for a meaningful Gergaoon celebration, highlighting the importance of community support and awareness for autism. The event was graced by German Ambassador H.E. Clemens Hach and his embassy team, who expressed their joy in sharing this special occasion with the children. 'It is truly a heartwarming moment to celebrate with these incredible kids and support the center's mission,' Ambassador Hach said. Currently, the center provides care and intervention for 160 individuals, ranging from ages six to 45. Khalid Alawadhi, Public Relations Officer at the center, emphasized the significance of community contributions, especially during the holy month. 'We have a cafE that provides sweets during Ramadan, and people can support the center by reaching out through our official channels,' he said.

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) is bringing the Kingdom's largest Gergaoon celebration from 12th to 14th March at The Avenues Bahrain from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM. In the spirit of a Ramadan tradition cherished by children, the event will feature a massive Yalla-themed Gergaoon bowl filled with over 2,000 KGs of candies, making it the biggest public candy distribution of its kind in Bahrain and the GCC.
