Burger week begins in Owensboro
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The annual Burger Week tradition kicked off in Owensboro on Friday.
Each participating restaurant has created their own custom burger specifically for the competition.
While this annual competition is normally set for 7 days, hungry customers can enjoy these burger creations for 9 days this year. Last day to get a taste of the burgers is on March 15.
While a panel of 'burger experts' blind taste the entries to determine a winner, customers can also vote for their favorite burger to win the people's choice prize. The 2024 German American Bank People's Choice Winner was Kim's Diner.
Previous Burger Week champions include J's Good Grub, Basil's Food Truck, Windy Hollow Biscuit House, Dee's Diner and O'Bryan's Bar & Grill.
