Curro Secunda's netball teams are Gert Sibande winners
Three of Curro Secunda's primary school netball teams excelled at the Gert Sibande Regional Championship held at Ligbron Akademie in Ermelo on May 23.
The U11 team was the Gert Sibande winners and won their matches against Laerskool Marietjie van Niekerk with 6-2, against Laerskool Balfour with 12-1, and against Maranatha with 11-6 while their match against Ark Christian School was a draw with 6-6.
The U12 team was also crowned as the Gert Sibande winners and they won all three their matches against Laerskool Marietjie van Niekerk with 13-9, against Maranatha with 14-6 and against Ark Christian School with 7-4.
Curro's U13 netball team finished second in the Gert Sibande league with three wins, against Laerskool Marietjie van Niekerk with a score of 13-6, against Balfour Combined School with a score of 12-4 and against Ark Christian School with a score of 17-1 and one loss against Maranatha with a score of 8-17.
