CloudBolt named Leader & Fast Mover in 2025 GigaOm report

CloudBolt has been recognised as both a Leader and a Fast Mover in the 2025 GigaOm Radar Report for Cloud Management Platforms. The latest edition of GigaOm's annual report evaluated 15 vendors according to a range of criteria, including technical innovation, execution, maturity, and capability to deliver business value. CloudBolt's positioning in the Platform/Innovation quadrant was attributed to its assessed strengths in cloud orchestration, automation, governance, optimisation, and scalability. Assessment criteria GigaOm's report noted that CloudBolt provides a central point for the integration of enterprise cloud strategies, highlighting the firm's approach to application hosting and the reduction of barriers to cloud portability. The report's Cloud, Infrastructure & Management Analyst, Dana Hernandez, stated, The solution serves as the central integration point for enterprise cloud strategy. CloudBolt's 'build once, deploy anywhere' application-hosting approach is designed to reduce barriers to cloud portability. CloudBolt's platform offers unified operations across diverse cloud environments from a single interface, currently supporting more than 20 different cloud endpoints. This, according to the report, gives organisations comprehensive visibility and control irrespective of their underlying infrastructure choices. Areas of focus The GigaOm Radar Report highlights CloudBolt's automation management features, which allow enterprises to streamline complex processes across hybrid cloud environments. Additionally, CloudBolt's FinOps capabilities are designed not only to facilitate resource provisioning, but also to support the management of the entire cloud resource lifecycle. This supports organisations in maintaining control and visibility across their cloud estates. The report also complimented CloudBolt for its ease of use and transparency in cost management, an area of growing importance for enterprises as cloud environments become more complex and distributed. Industry response Rod Squires, Chief Executive Officer of CloudBolt, responded to the announcement, saying, We're honored to be recognized by GigaOm as a Leader and Fast Mover. As the report indicated, our offering is not just a CMP – it's a convergence layer that unifies self-service, cost control, and automation to maximize cloud ROI. As part of our overall portfolio of solutions, our customers are able to reduce insight to action and gain advantage across all their cloud initiatives. The report's authors placed particular emphasis on the necessity of unified approaches to cloud management, especially for organisations with large data centre footprints or those pursuing multi- or hybrid-cloud strategies. CloudBolt's services address these needs by automating provisioning, securing access, implementing policies (guardrails), and helping organisations manage costs in a measurable way. Recent activity CloudBolt has reported several recent business and product milestones. These include the launch of the CloudBolt FinOps platform in late 2024, the acquisition of StormForge for Kubernetes resource right-sizing in early 2025, and receipt of InfoWorld's Technology of the Year Award in the domain of Cloud Cost Management for 2024. Vendors identified in the Leader and Fast Mover categories in the GigaOm assessment are noted for their strong current products as well as their capability to address evolving industry requirements. The report is intended to offer forward-looking perspectives by assessing providers on both their present technical merits and roadmap alignment.
