Amazon huge sale with 40% off on thousands of items including household staples to end in DAYS
AMAZON shoppers have been treated to a massive sale with 40 percent off thousands of items. But you'd better be quick, the major discounts won't be around much longer. 1 Amazon's Everyday Essentials Week runs from 21 to 27 May, slashing the prices on groceries, cleaning items, beauty products, and more. Products from big brands like Andrex, Fairy, Flash and Gillette Venus will all be discounted. Shoppers will also be able to snap up grocery products from brands such as Cadbury and Twinings, for up to 30% cheaper. The discounts will apply to all UK customers, with Prime members also able to access free delivery and same-day delivery in over 80 towns and cities across the UK. Amazon said that the event will offer shoppers savings 'on products for every room of the home, and for every member of the family – from baby wipes, shampoo, and toilet roll, to coffee pods, pet food, and fabric softener.' Bargain fans will also be pleased to learn that there will also be up to 15% off Amazon's own brand lines, including Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials. Whilst the sales are exciting, they've also caught the attention of vile scam artists. Experts have revealed the most common Amazon scams and how to avoid them during the shopping frenzy. The first being the Prime membership scam, where criminals contact victims via email or text to alert members of an 'issue' with the account. They then send an email with a link, prompting users to 'verify' their account details. "To avoid this, always check the sender of any email or text you receive," the QR Code Generator team told The Sun. "As convincing as scammers can be, Amazon will never ask you to share sensitive information via phone, text or email. "If you receive one of these messages, don't engage with it. Instead, go directly to the Amazon app or website to check the status of your account." Another to look out for is the fake order confirmation scam, where criminals send fake emails claiming there was an issue with the order. These emails usually contain links to fraudulent websites designed to steal personal details and payment information. The experts told us: "If you receive an email regarding an issue with your order, do not click any links. Instead, check the status of any orders through the Amazon app or website. "It is also advisable to enable two-factor authentication for extra security." The third scam is the fake listing scam where scammers create false shop fronts on Amazon, offering high-demand items at unbeatable prices. Shoppers will then be sent a counterfeit product or nothing at all. The experts said: "It is important to always check a seller's reviews and be cautious of deals that seem suspicious. Stick to well-reviewed sellers or those marked as 'Amazon Verified.' "If you do fall victim to a fake listing scam, you can often resolve this by contacting Amazon. "Click 'I have an issue with a seller' on the Amazon app or website to start the refund process. However, while you may get your money back, it is safest to avoid this scam altogether." 'Haul' was unveiled in the UK last week, after being launched in the US last year. The service is initially being trialled among select customers before being rolled out for all customers "in the coming weeks".

Amazon to launch 'Everyday Essentials Week' sale with up to 40% off must-have household items - from cleaning products to groceries
Amazon is giving shoppers across the UK a major reason to stock up this spring with the launch of Everyday Essentials Week. The brand new sales event, which is running from May 21 and ending May 27, will give customers seven days to enjoy savings of up to 40 per cent on thousands of everyday household must-haves from toiletries and cleaning products to groceries and pet care. Unlike Prime Day events, these savings will be available to all customers, with deals spanning popular categories such as beauty, health and personal care, grocery, and pet supplies. The perfect opportunity to top up on essentials without breaking the bank, shoppers can expect to see big-name brands on sale, including Andrex, Fairy, Flash, Gillette Venus, and WaterWipes. Amazon will also offer up to 30 per cent off grocery items, with household favourites like Cadbury, Nestlé, and Twinings all up for grabs for less, as well as savings across Amazon Fresh online and in stores, Whole Foods Market, and even Co-op, Iceland, and Morrisons via Amazon, depending on local availability. For those looking to stay ahead of the savings game, Amazon recommends setting up deal alerts for recently browsed items or adding favourites to a Wish List to receive notifications if they go on sale during the event. A pack of Peach Slices hydrocolloid nose patches that'll make de-gunking your pores gloriously, disgustingly satisfying. Think of them like zit patches, but bigger: Stick one on your nose, leave it there for six to eight hours, then peeeeeeel it off and marvel at all the junk stuck on it — junk which is no longer stuck inside your pores. So gross. So wonderful. Promising review: 'Great pore patches! I was going to buy normal pore strips that you rip off your nose after a few minutes, however this was a much better decision! I have only ever used the tiny hydrocolloid patches for acne spots on my face, which have also worked wonderfully, so I said, why not — I was pleasantly surprised with these nose patches! I had no issue with applying the nose patch, it's pretty basic to apply, but I'm sure there are tutorial videos on how to apply if there are any issues. I had applied right after washing and drying my face and kept on for eight hours with no problem. The patch adheres VERY well, but doesn't rip off like a bandage when taking off and comes off easily.
