Ed Sheeran has announced his new album Play, out September 12, with the release of 'Old Phone.' The globally inspired album was finalized in India and features Persian and Indian pop icon Ed Sheeran has officially announced details of his eighth studio album, Play, which will be released on September 12 via Gingerbread Records and Atlantic Records. The announcement comes with the release of a brand-new single, Old Phone, co-produced by Ilya Salmanzadeh and Blake Phone' follows the earlier release of 'Azizam,' the album's lead single, which dropped earlier this month. To build anticipation, Sheeran also launched a nostalgic Instagram account, @TeddysOldPhone, featuring throwback photos from his personal archive.
