Kolarov spent two years as an Inter player between 2020 and 2022. Prior to then, he had played for the likes of Lazio, Manchester City, and Roma. Inter had also targeted Giovanni Martusciello and Walter Samuel as potential assistants for Chivu. However, it's Kolarov who has arrived in the end.
